Nice location and great fish

We visited this place on the recommendation of some locals in Split, and had a nice evening under the trees. The service throughout the evening was somewhat slow, but friendly and chatty. The setting is beautiful, and prawn soup was a real highlight, packed full of creamy flavour. After that, things started to go downhill though. The "seafood carpaccio platter" might have passed for sashimi, but wasn't sliced finely enough to fit my definition of carpaccio. The monkfish was tough & chewy, and the platter in general was heavily acidic (probably lemon... More

We were really impressed when we saw their beautiful garden and after that first great impression everything else was also perfect. Great interior, great music which makes very good atmosphere. We ate fantastic roasted octopus. Staff was great and the owner is one distinctive person (in positive way)..

A group of 12 of us had dinner here one evening and we had a mixed experience. First of all, they had lost our reservation and there was a lot of confusion about where we would sit. Ultimately, we got a nice table and ordered drinks. That went fairly smoothly. The owner then came with the fresh fish of the... More

Romantic garden, picturesque surroundings, small tables spread around the garden, high trees, candlelight dinning, too high prices for good food. Prices were formed for excellent food.

When we saw this place, we just had to try it. It was big garden, with tables hidden in the bushes. It looked really special and nice. When we sat down and read the menu, we could see it was a cover charge at this place. 10 kuna pr. person. That surprised us a bit, and made us a little... More

Excellent food, well presented and very tasty, great service with the owner who explained the menu and recommended wine to go with it. They do not have credit card facilities so the owner gave us his card and asked to come back the day after to pay. Could not believe it.

Amazing! Incredible setting, very good food yet the service was astonishingly (and unnecessarily) wanting. I would recommend Lola over this place on every measure. Lola is much harder to book but well worth it.
