Try it

Placed in the beautiful garden in the old town of Vis (Kut). You must try the schrimpsh soup. All in all a little bit different then other restaurants on Vis. The prices are also higger.

If you love fish that is fresh, tasty and beautifully prepared do not miss this place. We were on Vis for around 12 days and tried 15 of the best rated restaurants on TripAdvisor. This is without doubt the best for fish. The place itself is gorgeous- the pictures do not do it justice. The lush vegetation and the lighting... More

Beautiful and charming gardens. Nice story behind the original owner of the place who returned from South America in 1820ties to buy and build that place. Food is good. I loved Blitva, a typical dish in Dalmatian cuisine that is very easy to make, but so tasty. It is Swiss Chard w boiled potato, seasoned with olive oil and shopped... More

We had excellent dinner at the end of June. It was a delicious grlled lobster (Jastog). But the brilliant part was the fishplate as a starter. Really well made tuna, squid and sardines. This was updated version of the traditional cold starter. We enjoyed also the Korta Katarina Posip, even it was a little too pricey. Really nice large and... More

It was the ugliest fish on the platter, but I'd tried all the others. So, I risked the red one. It was delicious, tender and fresh. The waiter had recommended I try it. He also recommended wine, appetizers, and salads. We took all of his recommendations and we had a wonderful dinner. Unless you know exactly what you want trust... More

The setting is beautiful, and prawn soup was a real highlight, packed full of creamy flavour. After that, things started to go downhill though. The "seafood carpaccio platter" might have passed for sashimi, but wasn't sliced finely enough to fit my definition of carpaccio. The monkfish was tough & chewy, and the platter in general was heavily acidic (probably lemon... More

We were really impressed when we saw their beautiful garden and after that first great impression everything else was also perfect. Great interior, great music which makes very good atmosphere. We ate fantastic roasted octopus. Staff was great and the owner is one distinctive person (in positive way)..

A group of 12 of us had dinner here one evening and we had a mixed experience. First of all, they had lost our reservation and there was a lot of confusion about where we would sit. Ultimately, we got a nice table and ordered drinks. That went fairly smoothly. The owner then came with the fresh fish of the... More

We visited this place on the recommendation of some locals in Split, and had a nice evening under the trees. The service throughout the evening was somewhat slow, but friendly and chatty. The food was great. We had the shrimp soup to start and were impressed. The lamb chops were tasty and best eaten with your fingers. A whole grilled... More

My girlfriend and I had an amazing meal in a beautiful setting! Service was great but I have heard then others had bad service! Make sure your order the shrimp soup as it is delicious. Waiter knew all about the wines and spoke great English! Very happy and well priced
