You cannot go wrong stopping here when in the Upper Peninsula. This isn't just a place for home made food. This is a place for a home made experience. It's a cafe, bookstore, and local haunt where you meet the real folks who really live there. You might just walk in on a reading, some local pleasant live background music,... More

The Falling Rock is a regular stop for me when I'm in Munising every summer, and not just because I'm a caffeine addict. The place is everything a small-town coffee shop (heck, even big-town) should be: good, friendly, quirky and inviting. There are more food options than you'd expect, from quinoa salad to ice cream to hot dogs to baked... More

I loved this cafe even before I tasted the wonderful quinoa salad! When I pushed the screen door open to enter and walked across the wooden floor, I was transported back in time to the old general stores I knew as a child. I was not disappointed when my food arrived. Perfect lite lunch ... and a bonus for me,... More

Don't miss this gem in the small town of Munising, home for the famous Pictured Rock boat tours and the many picturesque waterfalls in the area. The cafe is a spacious but comfortable cafe/coffee shop, a perfect place for breakfast, lunch or light dinner, or to relax with coffee and wi-fi access. The food is great, with healthy options. We... This is a nice little hometown coffee shop. They also sell local books, art, & jewelry. Excellent service.

This cafe is a lot of fun. I'm gluten free and there were great options. Mismatched tables and chairs, new and used books. local maps and info, some antiques and local art make it a place with lots of interest.

Had the best bagel of my life at this place. And loved the ecletic set up a miss matched chairs with tables. Free wifi is a bonus in this town where getting any type of reception is difficult.

We stopped off season, just after Labor day. Pasties for lunch. Delicious. Then a scoop of ice cream. Even better. What a nice little place. We will be back!

This was the only place in town that we found that made cappuccinos, a necessity for our mornings. Unfortunately, they were not that great. We also ordered breakfast and lunch to go while we sipped our coffees. If you're in a rush, don't come here because you will wait. Part of the reason is because this seems to be very... More

We went here twice during our weekend in Munising and the first time was great. The ice cream is exceptional. Yes, the establishment gets pretty warm inside but we didn't wait very long. The service was good. The second time we went here was for morning coffee and the gal running it wouldn't take anyone's order until the person waiting... More
