Description: We are a take-out restaurant. We sell home-made daily Cornish style pasties.. They are made of of beef, potato, carrots, onion and rutabaga enveloped in a homemade flaky crust. We have beef, ground chicken or veggie pasties. We also have fruit pasties daily for dessert. We make our own homemade creamy fudge also! Stop by and visit us and see items in our gift shop. If you come early enough you will have the opportunity to see our bakers in action making this wonderful meal. Although we do not offer indoor seating, we do have nice picnic tables under a wonderful pavilion!

Fantastic Pasties! Have had them in the UK, but never the US. Muldoon's is a great spot for lunch and to pick up some souvenirs for friends and family back home.

dont really care for them. The old bakery in town was better but that place is gone. This is a nice place to go out on the picnic table to eat if the weathere is good. Voted #1 pastie in the UP banner is probably false advertisment..i never remember them winning an all u.p. award in the 30 yrs ive been... More

On a vacation trip to the UP I stayed in Ironwood, Copper Harbor, and Munising and had a pasty in each town. Both Ironwood and Munising had pasty places that tourist lit claimed were the best in the UP. I got a vegetarian pasty at Muldoon’s to have for lunch on the road as I drove toward home. I have... We've been stopping at Muldoon's for years now. They have the best pasties we have ever had. The price is not out of line and folks there are friendly. We just love it here. We always do takeout and drive to the park that's just down the road to eat. Spectacular view of the harbor and Grand Island.

Muldoon's is not a restaurant; it's a small, quaint shop that makes fudge and pasties. If you are there at the right time, you can watch the products being made. The scent when you walk in the door is heavenly!! They sell a lot of cute gift items as well, although I didn't see much locally-made stuff. The pasties are... More

The sign outside said Voted #1 Pasties in the UP. Last trip to the UP, I missed the pasties. We stopped here to find out what it was. This is a take out only establishment. They had several different kinds of fudge for sale. We got a beef and a chicken pasty. They were mostly potato, carrots and some other... More

Not authentic. Pastie as the shape of a ciabatta and filling was all potato and carrot. I had the chicken and I could not detect or taste any meat at all. We had better at the restaurant at one of the falls. I think the people that "voted" this best on the UP were the owners.

Hi, I am so sorry you did not enjoy your experience here at Muldoons! We strive for customer satisfaction. Our vote was actually done by the Mining Journal Newspaper several years ago. It was authentic and we do have a plaque. Our chicken pasties are made with mostly white meat; therefore difficult to detect by color. I'm sorry that yours... More

This was our lunch spot on a recent Road Rally. They knew hundreds of us were coming and that we were on a tight schedule and yet service was slow. It is an attractive place with a cool gift shop and it smells good, but that was where my enthusiasm ended. I am not sure who voted them the #1... More

Hi, I am very sorry you did not enjoy this stop during the Road Rally. Unfortunately we weren't predicting over 185 participants. We were told there would be about 100. We were very excited though that there were 185! Very sorry service seemed slow. I did have an extra employee on to take all the photos with Sasquatch for the... More

Ok I'm not a big fan of pasties. They just taste blah. My wife said I should try Muldoon pasties they are the best. Ok I said I will try them. So I did and they have chicken. Ni love anything chicken. They are awsome. Comes with chicken gravy, coleslaw and a drink. I like these pasties and won't try... More

My family and I visited the U.P. (first time) and we were told to visit Muldoon's to try one of their pasties. We did, and it exceeded expectations! I had the beef pasty with gravy on top as well as the pumpkin pasty - the pumpkin one melted in my mouth. So good!! We then came back the next day,... More
