Good Food but Forgetful Staff

We came here for dinner. We ordered pinakbet pizza, longganisang vigan pizza and vigan express for an Ilocano food feast. The garlic rice is very good. We also ordered inihaw na liempo, fried tilapia and daing na bangus. Dine outside to have a Vigan feel. I could have given an Excellent rating, if... read more

Our trip to Vigan would've been incomplete without Cafe Leona. Out of the 5 of us 4 didn't have beef or pork and 1 was vegetarian. And that's bad news in Vigan, the place known for its Longanisa :). But Cafe Leona was the saviour and how! We were late for dinner on our first day in Vigan. We searched... More

I have tried eating their specialty dish "Bagnet". Bagnet looks like a version of lechon kawali cooked the Ilokano way which was always paired with fish sauce or "ginamos".Bagnet eaten with fish sauce has a distinct taste that makes you want more of it but when Bagnet is eaten alone, it is kind of crispy but bland. It costs around... More

We reserved our seat around 4pm for a dinner date at 7pm. We arrived 30 mins early and the cashier show us our reserved seats. Ordered chicken parmigiana, bagnet with rice, grilled eggplant with fresh tomatoes and onion and garden salad. All good. They also offers shakes, so i mix it up (mango and banana then jim bean for my... More

When we first arrived here, we were stunned by the untouched historical feeling of the interior. The walls are not painted, but the original form and color of the old house where they are located. You can also dine outside at night. The food was tasty but not extraordinary. But the experience is what led us there. :) Visit my... More

Big choice on the menu (Filipino, Western and Japanese food). All well done. Very efficient and kind service. Highly recommended in Vigan.

Every region in the Philippines has a distinct cuisine. Features Sisig (a sizzling dish of crisp pork bits, onions, garlic and hot peppers) pairs well with a cold bottle of local brew - San Miguel Pale pilsen or Light or Red Horse beer (which packs a punch!) KAre-KAre (Ox tail stew) was tender and flavorful. The stew of local vegetables... More
