Cheap guest house but not vers clean

We stayed there one night and paid 600 000 kips (around 6,50 euro). The room was ok but still not very clean. The People were quite friendly. Breakfast ok.

Food is tasty. Staff is friendly. Sometimes you must make contact with them, but that is a part of the charme of laos. Price compare to what you get is just great. I will eat here again

Manychan might be the only place in town to offer dorms, so it’s a good, cheap option for solo travelers. The beds are thick mattresses on the floor, and there are thick blankets to keep you warm if you’re traveling during the cooler months. The shared bathrooms are located downstairs from the dorm. Wifi is good, even in the room.... More

Cheap rooms, very social place. Good hot water. Wifi, was flakey. The restaurant is overpriced, eat at the night market.

The food here was good, atleast the Laos food. Our orders for breakfast were not as described and we didn't get half of them. It is in the center of town and on the street, excellent location.

We ate here two nights and can happily say the curry is delicious (coconut based, we had both the chicken and veggie). My partner also really enjoyed the veggie and beer soup. The spring rolls are also delicious. However, the noodle dishes were just average. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good price.

Went here for a dinner and a breakfast. Both were ok, but nothing overwhelming. I went for the fried rice, which is mostly a good dish. Same here. Breakfast was ok, too. I really liked the iced coffee, which was made with condensed milk. Considering the price it is a good place to eat out.

If you like bland noodles swimming in oil eat here. If you don't, then give it a miss. I got over charged for the joy too, but luckily I spotted the mistake and got her to correct it. Overall a bad experience.

Whilst it's certainly no great accolade, this is the best place to eat in luang nam tha unless you have the time and money to visit the forest retreat and don't mind giving that money to the non locals there that create odd western food...the ladies in charge speak great English and are friendly too..

Went here once as the Som Tam was very poor (papaya and two slices of tomato) and when I asked for some peanuts the girl brought some over begrudgingly. The traveller I was with asked for a green salad and it was covered in ketchup....yuck! Maybe it was a bad day but didn't go back there again!
