The food here was good, atleast the Laos food. Our orders for breakfast were not as described and we didn't get half of them. It is in the center of town and on the street, excellent location.

We ate here two nights and can happily say the curry is delicious (coconut based, we had both the chicken and veggie). My partner also really enjoyed the veggie and beer soup. The spring rolls are also delicious. However, the noodle dishes were just average. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good price.

Went here for a dinner and a breakfast. Both were ok, but nothing overwhelming. I went for the fried rice, which is mostly a good dish. Same here. Breakfast was ok, too. I really liked the iced coffee, which was made with condensed milk. Considering the price it is a good place to eat out.

If you like bland noodles swimming in oil eat here. If you don't, then give it a miss. I got over charged for the joy too, but luckily I spotted the mistake and got her to correct it. Overall a bad experience.

Whilst it's certainly no great accolade, this is the best place to eat in luang nam tha unless you have the time and money to visit the forest retreat and don't mind giving that money to the non locals there that create odd western food...the ladies in charge speak great English and are friendly too..

Went here once as the Som Tam was very poor (papaya and two slices of tomato) and when I asked for some peanuts the girl brought some over begrudgingly. The traveller I was with asked for a green salad and it was covered in ketchup....yuck! Maybe it was a bad day but didn't go back there again!

After searching for nice food in Luang Namtha we decided this busy place would be worth a try. As is often the case in Laos the dreaded MSG was the only flavour in any of the food. Rice, noodles and soup all tasted the same, along with lots of oil. Yuk!

I did not stay here but met a couple who were staying here and they recommended the restaurant to me. I came primarily because I saw they had both mushroom laap and tofu laap on the menu. As someone who doesn't eat meat I had given up trying to find Laos food and this was the first time I had... More

We spent 3 days in this beautiful guest house. We have founded a very comfortable and clean room with fan. It is not very easy to find locals that speak good English, but the owner does and helped us a lot with also good tips. We had breakfast and dinner here and it was all fresh and well presented. So...
