Dinner was delicious! We chose to eat outside, it was a beautiful day. I do wish the small two seat tables had umbrellas (the other tables did). The day was not extremely hot but the sun was a little relentless during the time of day we were eating. The setting was wonderful, next to railroad... read more

We stopped by Mountain Town for lunch on our way home from a backpacking trip on the west side of the state. Our first choice of restaurants was closed on Sunday when their website said they were open. Fortunately for us, Plan B was a total winner. Their menu is diverse and barbecue orientated. The Asian tuna salad was delish... More

I have some friends that really like this place, but honestly I think it is over priced for what you get. The food is just ok, but they want a premium price. I can't say I refuse to eat here, but it is never my first choice. I think it has potential, it just doesn't live up to it.

I really enjoy their selections of fish, my wife loves the ribs. They have wonderfully creative soups, good salads and they have a wide variety of beers & ales, some of which they make on the premises. I like the herb & pecan crusted walleye with real baked potatoes on the side. Nice friendly efficient service and a great place... More

I admit, it was several years ago that I splurged and went to Mountain Town. There were 4 in our party, and not one of us had anything good to say. The food was mediocre, took forever to get to us, and was cold. It was so loud and the decor so busy, that we decided to just pay up... More

The Mountain Town Station is one of my favorite restaurants in the Mt. Pleasant area to get a good steak. The restaurant offers daily specials ranging from burgers to sushi. The filet mignon has been my favorite and while ordering it, I was not disappointed. The menu offers a wide selection to choose from and you won't be disappointed.

Huge restaurant that seems to accommodate lots of different groups well. Went here on a Saturday night at 6 pm and were seated right away. The staff said the wait doesn't start until about 8 pm and they were right. We ordered calamari and a sampler plate for appetizers-both delicious. My son and I both ordered the maple crusted trout... We are glad you gave us a chance! We have been doing this for just over 18 years, and like to think we treat our guests right - great food and great service are some of our basic tenets. Our calamari is cut from the very best part - not just the tentacles as most people use, and we are... More

My son lives in Mt. Pleasant and we like to meet up once a month with him over dinner and choose a different restaurant each time. I had previously heard many good things about the MTS so I decided to meet there. The word of mouth was spot on. The food selection was unique and delicious. It also doesn't hurt... More

Thank you for visiting, Rick! We do consider our Pork Morel to be one of the best dishes on our menu, and we love to hear that validated by guests! We look forward to your next visit, and appreciate the kind review! More

My wife and I enjoyed a meal here before heading to the Casino for a show. We both order the Top Sirlon - hers with a baked potato and mine with the steamed veggies. We were disappointed that you only get one side per entree so we split each of ours. Her steak was cooked well but not dry. Mine... More

Thank you for your review, Joe! While we do offer only one side with most of our entrees, they do come with a salad as well. You can always choose to forgo the salad and replace it with an additional side. We hope you enjoyed the show at Soaring Eagle, and are glad you chose to spend the evening with... More

The service and friendliness was outstanding. The food was good, maybe not great with large portions. Very busy waited 35 minutes on Saturday night. Worth the wait.

Our Saturdays in particular have had a waiting period lately - we like to think it's because our guests are recognizing our dedication to excellent service, a lively and friendly atmosphere and our dedication to the entire experience for our patrons! Thank you for your patience during the wait, and thank you for visiting us! Have an excellent day, Brenda! More
