Ok, I'll admit it, us gluten free diners are a pain to wait on. But the folks here were so accomodating. It was so great to have a grilled cheese on gluten free bread with a fresh fruit cup. The rest of my party loved their food too. My son got the cheeseburger and my husband got a health nut... More

We stopped here based on Trip Advisor reviews as we passed through town on a road trip to the UP. The title pretty much says it all, but a few more specifics for the interested... Our group of four had a bacon burger, the Reuben, the California Girl and a Tuscan chicken wrap. Everyone gave two thumbs up, but the... More

Enjoyed lunch on a Sunday afternoon. It was nice so we were able to sit outside. Loved the menu choices and was equally impressed with the food. A cute and trendy place to match the trendy little college town.

We were in Mt. Pleasant for our daughter's CMU orientation. Decided we would not do the parent orientation as we had already been to the school twice last fall. So we needed a place for coffee and to sit and relax while we got to know the area. What a wonderful find. Good coffee nice nice people especially Tim the... More

Stopped here based on it's TripAdvisor rating, and glad we did! They have any kind of sandwich or wrap you can think of! They have a build your own menu, so you literally can make the perfect lunch. I had a turkey avocado with cheese and sprouts on a low carb wrap. It was delicious! Toasted to perfection! We sat... More

They ran out of the Chicken & dumpling soup which I heard was great, but I had a new item which was a firey sandwich. I don't like spicey foods but this was very good. It comes with a pickle and a bag of chips. I would say this is the 2nd best restaurant in Mount pleasant, after Los palominos.... More

Max and Emily's is amazing - an amazing amount of options, the best chicken and dumpling soup ever! The menu is varied enough it's scribbled around the entire building (my personal favorite is the inferno - #61). For one of the better lunch places in town, they shouldn't be passed up! (The patio during spring/summer is a very nice place... More

I like to go in for lunch by myself and with family. I enjoy the sandwiches and the soup. The service is always great. The food is great. The coffee by Seattle's Best is great! The atmosphere is always nice. I go for my walk and make it a point to walk into Max & Emily's for coffee to complete... More
