Early famiy Christmas visit

Service and food was good. Stuffed mushrooms & calamari appetizers. Calamari was very nice (not rubbery like many restaurants ). We all had filets (5 adults ). Tender & cooked as ordered. Bill was reasonable. This will definitely be on our list to revisit on our various trips to visit family in... read more

Have had the lake perch several times and it is always good. Service is usually attentive. Nice atmosphere.

The Wife and I went for a early Sunday dinner, the food was fantastic, the service even better. The property is (retro 60's ), but don't let that fool You. Large portions, quality was top notch, and We will go there again.

It's not much to look at from the outside but the food was good. I had a steak and it was great. The service is fine and friendly. I think it's a hidden treasure.

But I was disappointed that every little extra had an additional cost. I have never been to a restaurant where I felt 'nickel and dimed' until trying this one and we eat out a lot! The food was tasty enough, and the service was fine, but I was so turned-off to the policy of paying for extra bread, condiments on... More

Golfer group going to Joes 15 of the last 20 years (our group ranges from 7 to 15 golfers). We spend a week in Monroe golfing (from outside Michigan) and try all the local restaurants. Food in the past was very good. Last couple years it has disappointed. I tried the steak for the first time. Our golfer usually do... More

Joe’s an easy going old style family restaurant. Well worth a long drive for dinner. The appetizers and homemade dressings are great. What really makes Joe’s is the Sizzle Plate Steaks, they are the best.

Older resturant from the 50s.service is good. Sea food. From lake erie and oceans. Perch is good as well as steaks. Perch could have been more flavorful. Pricey. The steaks are your best choice.

The clam chowder at Joe's is absolutely the best ever. I will try clam chowder at other restaurants, even in San Francisco and Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey, Ca. None of them can compare to Joe's. They only serv it on Friday, so that's something to remember. As for their prime rib, it's so tender and good. I like mine medium... More

We had a family gathering in June of 2015 and Joe's was suggested. Turned out to be a very good suggestion. Good prices, great service and very good food with plenty of space for everyone. Thanks to the staff of Joe's French Italian, the dinner was a big success.
