Great food / Great Service

We take out a lot from here. Food is always prepared well, packaged great and on time. Portions are good sized and prices are fair compared to other places in town. Dining in; place is clean, friendly staff, and everything we have tried so far has been really good.

They have a great variety of food, from steak to seafood to sandwiches. The staff there are very friendly an you tend to meet folks there from out of town. That is a good thing knowing some folks drive a distance for a great meal there.

If you didn't know it was there, you'd miss it. Everything is homemade. Clam chowder was soup of day, and filled with lots of clams. Very hardy. I had eggplant parmesan... Very good.. You can bring a bottle of wine or a beer, they have glasses and frosted mugs. Breakfast is served till 2pm. During the week they close at... More

I went there with 5 other friends and everything is Home Cooked and fresh. We did wait a bit for our food but it gave us time to chat a bit. The waitress aid sorry for the wait but we make everything fresh. We were very pleased with our meal and I will be going back for sure. The chef... More

While spending a long weekend in Monroe, MI I searched the internet for restaurants. Bolles Harbor Cafe was just up the road from the campground I was at. I dined there Friday night on Pan Fried Walleye. My meal was Outstanding. Chef Silverio Conte, who serves his own creations and traditional favorites, came out of the kitchen to see how... More

Food is usually good here but it frequently takes a long time to receive your meal. Servers do the best job they can but it seems to just take a long time to get served. Particularly annoying is when they run out of food, pizza dough, salad dressing, daily special, etc. How in the world can that happen?? Owner is... More

We had a intimate dinner there with friends on a Saturday evening! The food was delicious! The chef came out and welcomed us and the service was excellent. The atmosphere of the cafe is nautical and very fitting for the location across from the harbor. It was a very enjoyable evening and we highly recommend the Bolles Harbor Cafe!

I will start by giving credit to the server, Jaime and owner, Connie for trying to please me, but in the end, the meal was another huge disappointment, with a huge bill to match. Two over-cooked, tough and flavorless steaks politely returned, resulted in the same on the third try, yet I was too over it to say anymore, and took... More

Party of three...each ordered something simple from the lunch menu. Waitress came back three different times to advise us of some missing ingredient to our order....bread, salad dressing, Cole slaw. It took 30 minutes for the food to arrive, and only after I asked what was going on in the kitchen. Food was marginal, perch was heavily breaded and oily.... More

I ordered a 4 item large pizza for takeout and should have been charged 13.55. Instead, I was charged and extra $1.95 because I asked for plenty of sauce. The pizza was one of the worst I have had. Very little sauce, little cheese, cardboard like crust, extra sausage tasted like finely ground beef and not italian sausage, pineapple was... More
