Too expensive for the "atmosphere", Table cloths are worn and faded, only a single unisex bathroom. Salad greens were showing rust, dressing was in little plastic take out containers. Dinners were only ok, nothing memorable. Although the restaurant across the street was packed, we were the only customers in the cafe. Waitress was friendly and prompt, but the place is... More

We tried Bolles Harbor Cafe to have something new. The parking lot was about half full. The harbor inn and ale across the street was packed. We didn't wanna wait so we went inside the cafe. The prices are pretty high. The food portions were stingy. I ordered the Belgian waffle with berries and whipped cream. Even after I spread... More

Just ate there last night and the service was terrible! Took forever to take our drink orders. Coffee was bottom of the pot, barely got a refill when I had to ask for one and then the server makes a new pot when we are ready to leave and asks if we want some more, said no thank you and... More

Whenver I come back to Monroe to visit friends and family, I try to make it to Bolle Harbor Cafe. TheGreek omlette is the best i ever had. I have never had an bad experience with the food or service.

The pizza here was fantastic on 1/25/2012 me and my wife were the only customers in the restaurant that night. Will be back if ever in the area. Thank You.

I've never had a bad meal here and i've eaten here often for both breakfast and dinner. My husband and I travel extensively and have yet to find the freshness and quality that we consistantly find at bolles harbor cafe. Our first trip to the cafe was for breakfast which was fantastic! After viewing the dinner menu we went back... More

When you go be sure to allow yourself plenty of time. The food is very good and freshly prepared. Only a few tables in the cafe but it takes forever to take order, bring drinks, receive food. Owner operated using long-time, tried and true family recipes. Not sure what the problem is regarding slow service and hope it's addressed and... More

As everyone agrees, the food at Bolles Harbor Cafe can be tremendous. The prices are a little steep when you consider the size of the cafe, its atmosphere and the always slow service. Waiting 15 minutes to take a drink order, then another 10 minutes to take your order and finally 30-45 minutes to get your food served is simply... More

I grew up in Monroe and come back to see fam and friends. Whenever I can, I drag someone to this little restaurant. The eggs are perfection and the food is fresh, interesting and delicious. The man who owns this place would make a fortune in Harbor Springs! Stop by next time you are passing LaPlaisance Rd along I-75 in... More

Bolles harbor has really great almost gourmet breakfast at a very reasonable price. Although I've only had there breakfast, I have never been disappointed by the food whenever we have eaten there! The staff is usually made up of the owner chef (who is superb-almost always coming out to greet the guest who will be soon enjoying whatever he has... More
