Not as expected

This place was not very kid friendly. Nothing special for children. Waitresses have no patience with them! The menu is very limited and quite pricey for what you get! To bad they are nothing like they used to be before moving into this location years ago. My kids used to love going to the "old... read more

I have been to D’alessandro’s many times, most usually for business lunches or dinners. The setting is wonderful outside (weather permitting) but just OK inside. The food on the other hand is usually quite good – try the lobster/shrimp stuffed shells! The lasagna – a staple of Italian restaurants – was not good and had a background flavor that was... More

I have been going to this restaurant for years, and they always continue to improve on everything. The food is outstanding and service is good. They having seating outside in warm weather and a banquet hall for parties. This is my go to restaurant in Midland...it beats all the chain restaurants. Love the salad and bread, and have yet to... I love the portabella ravioli, absolutely delicious and you can tell the pasta is homeade. This is my favorite italian restaurant. Yum!

They graciously stayed open to accommodate our large (and late) dinner party. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The sea bass was as good as I've had anywhere and much more affordable too. We had a lovely time. Thanks for your hospitality and we'll see you again!

Definitely above average for the US. Materials were fresh and generally well prepared. The Salate Caprece was nice, the average taste mozzarella (doubt it was Buffalo) was compensated by the nice taste of sweetish concentrated balsamico, the fresh sea bass was well prepared and fresh. A bit on the salty side, but otherwise delicious. The spaghetti on the side was... More

At first I was concerned that I was going to me cold shouldered as a single diner. once I was seated the water warmed to his task. I believe he was a bit shy! Anyway for dinner I had a starter of Calamari > Don't go there! it was pretty much a Sysco type app and completely unimpressive. I tried... More

Independent restaurant, family owned, operated. Best seafood in town plus homemade Italian. Small, quiet, well managed. Service is great, always great food.

Some friends and I had dinner here last night. The atmosphere was friendly and the staff was so very helpful. Everything that we ordered was very good. The lamb was cooked perfectly, shrimp scampi was delightful and the halibut was very moist. The bread they served with our dinner was very good and the dipping sauce was incredible.

Reasonable prices...I'm never disappointed with anything I order. Love eating outside in the beautiful Italian garden!
