I had my first pasty and it was delicious. Pleasant and speedy service. Delicious homemade food and sweets. Extremely reasonable prices.

Beautiful views. Solid comfort food. Nice staff. Clean. The baked goods looked amazing and the small gift shop was nice. Our second time here. Will return if in the area.

On a recommendation we had lunch. Nice view of the bay, casual tables and booths. Seated quickly, the waitress seemed friendly but impatient. Immediately asked for our order, we barely had picked up our menus. 60 seconds later she was back. Another minute later she was back again for our order. Ok, so we picked something. A BLT had bread... More

It was a beautiful September evening and we chose to sit on the deck. Perfect setting with sailboats on the bay. And then there was the food. The menu you was varied and had many choices. I asked the waitress for a recommendation and was so happy I went with her suggestion. The roast beef was delicious. Moist, broke apart... More

Cute gift shop on site, tempting bakery items that are fresh along with a very good grouping of Midwestern classic food on the menu. While the decor is nothing fancy the food is quickly and deliciously prepared. To top it all off there's a lovely bay view. Good solid fare reasonably priced.

The food was excellent and served hot. We tried the fries on the recommendation of our waitress and they were outstanding as was the pannis we had. Wonderful views of the bay from everywhere in the restaurant. Will definitely stop here again on our way through.

Close to hotel - so we tried. Light Saturday night crowd... We had the fried perch and loved it. Great soups and terrific pie. Great diner food and friendly staff. For this area, a safe and delicious choice.

On our cycle and first stop on our journey north. Beautiful views of the lake and wasn't too busy. Hubby had a burger with homemade chips and a malt (malt was great). I had a panini and fries which were ok but the raspberry pie for dessert was awesome!!

The food here is good and there is a nice variety of food types. I had Swedish meatballs and my husband had country fried steak...both meals were good, reasonably priced, and were in reasonable servings which is a nice change from overly huge servings! The view of Lake Michigan is spectacular and one whole side of the dining area has... More
