Description: For over 100 years, Schuler's Restaurant & Pub has kept it in the family...
For over 100 years, Schuler's Restaurant & Pub has kept it in the family - and beaten the odds. How rare is this achievement? According to Family Business Review more than 30 percent of all family-owned businesses survive into the second generation. Twelve percent will still be viable into the third generation, with three percent of all family businesses operating at the fourth-generation level and beyond. Schuler's, a four-generation, family-owned restaurant in Marshall, Michigan is an institution. Schuler's attributes its longevity to the foresight of our founder and the succeeding family members who have used their entrepreneurial skills to build a 100-year tradition of hospitality and fine dining.

The Place To Go In Marshall

As I understand it, this is the best spot in town and dinner, as well as lunch, were quite good. Solid menu and very good service. Nice atmosphere and a good drink selection since they have the pub right there. Looks of baked goods to temp you with as well.

This restaurant has excellently trained, knowledgable, and friendly staff. The food is fantastic. I have never been disappointed by any meal I have gotten and the seasonal drinks are always creative and delicious.

Best fish and chips in town. If you want something a little less formal try Winston's which is part of Schulers, good pub menu and you can still order from the restaurant menu

My wife and I had dinner with another couple at Winston's Pub within Schuler's Restaurant while staying at the National House Inn. We shared the Schuler's Barbeque Meatballs for an appetizer, which consists of approximately 10 meatballs for a price of $8.75. The price was quite steep for the number of meatballs and for that reason I doubt I'd order... More

3 of the 4 of us had prime rib which I was told was really good, I had fish and chips and left most of it on the plate. It was not good at all. When we got there it was not busy but service was very slow, we were traveling and would have liked to keep things moving a... More

We stopped by on our way home and had a great lunch. The server was very good, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We will definitely return.

Was there several times and I would always come back when looking for good food. Unfortunately in a country area it's all about commercial (you will see a lot of posters around inviting to this restaurant) which are paid with bit overpriced menu.

First time here and I love the Pub area,, plenty of seating and tv's, free popcorn! Beautiful wood paneling made it cozy on a cold afternoon. French dip was great --coleslaw not so much, fries great! We will be back for sure.

Our service was just ok. Our waitress was ok. Our food was ok. We ate in the dining room with a reservation. 12 of us drove an hour for a friend's birthday dinner. Our table was not completely set up, we had to ask for additional tables service and napkins, etc.; that's ok, but not for a restaurant with this... More

Have ate in both the pub and dining room. Both delish! From their salads to their steaks, everything is great and considered a treat. Highly recommended if ever in the area!!
