For over 100 years, Schuler's Restaurant & Pub has kept it in the family - and beaten the odds. How rare is this achievement? According to Family Business Review more than 30 percent of all family-owned businesses survive into the second generation. Twelve percent will still be viable into the third generation, with three percent of all family businesses operating at the fourth-generation level and beyond. Schuler's, a four-generation, family-owned restaurant in Marshall, Michigan is an institution. Wonderful Food

7-2-15 Shuler’s This is a must place to go to eat. We found this restaurant on Trip Advisor and the TA reviews were right on. I had the Winston burger and it was delicious. It was a walk through the garden with bacon and was so good that I did not use catsup. Probably the best burger I have... read more

Immediate seating. Famous Schuler's cheese and crackers served as starter. Large portions. The prime rib was absolutely perfect. It cut like butter, was served to the temperature ordered, and seasoned well. It's an old-time restaurant and maintains its original feel. Can't wait to return.

Since we are locals we are very familiar with Schuler's. It is our go-to for a nice meal, though it is pricey. I'm happy to say it's better than ever. Today our group had the soft tacos (chicken), Traverse Bay salad with smoked salmon, pub nachos and the Eastern Market brat. It was a great lunch! Everyone loved the food... More

I would recommend Schuler's to my friends and family. I hadn't visited the restaurant in a long time

So nice to visit an old, established restaurant that still values 'old-time' attention to detail and quality.

I had the fantastic New York Strip steal that was perfectly prepared. My wife had the burger and granddaughter LOVED the meatballs!

Have been there several times over the past years, but seems to have gone downhill. Ordered the Filet Med/Rare and first time it came out about Med to Med/Well, and they took it back to recook another one. It finally came out again about 14 minutes later, and it was cooked Med/Well (even more done than the first time). The... More

We stopped for a quick bite and split a meal. Hadn't been there in 30 years. The décor is ok but the food is outstanding. We had a BLT with brie and a beet salad. Couldn't get over how many flavors and how well the food was prepared and presented. Would recommend this as a stop

Really good food and reasonably priced. Staff was professional and friendly. When we lived here we came frequently. We now live 800 miles away but when coming to visit, it is a must to eat here. Take home one of their crocks of cheese spread. None better anywhere!

It's famous for roast beef, and the roast beef sandwich is big and juicy and tastes of beef roasted slowly and long. Delicious.
