Love the classic look. Attentive, courteous, efficient service. Lunch was both great tasting and timely. Great food.

We have always wanted to go to Schuler's and we finally did. In Calhoun County Schuler's is an institution. The was pretty good but the atmosphere is pretty dated. I understand its a historical look, but a quick remodel would give it a more fresh and appealing look.

Schuler's is an institution, and the locals love it. The menu is ambitious for a restaurant and pub, but we didn't try anything too crazy. My onion soup was excellent, but my husband's vegetable soup was not. We split homemade chips with blue cheese and truffle oil; however, I didn't taste any truffle oil. They were good, but the portion... More

Schulers is a place where you can go and meet for a business lunch or dinner and know that you are going to be pleased. This is a location where I go often for business and I am never disappointed with the food served or the service being delivered. I have sampled many items on the menue and I have... More

It takes time for a restaurant to become a classic. Schuler's has had that time and has earned it's place. As we sat on the bar's patio, three groups of tourist took their pictures in front of the place and two sets of locals were seated on the patio (this on a weekday lunch). The staff is genuinely friendly and... More

We were in the area on business, and our client recommended Schuler's for dinner. The building and restaurant have a unique history that entertained us while we waited for our meal. However, that was the extent of a memorable dining experience. My husband's walleye was unremarkable along with the veggies that accompanied it. My "adult macaroni and cheese" was far... More

Our family of three dined here on a Sunday evening. The setting was nice and quiet, and we were not rushed at all with our meal (just the way we like it). The service was excellent! The food was so good I have to call it comfort food at it's finest. My husband got the London Broil and I got... More

We have a daughter that lives in Grand Haven, Michigan and we visit them frequently. We live in Trotwood, Ohio so Marshall is on our way. If we are in Marshall at the right time, we stop for lunch. We had lunch in the Pub July 3, 2014 and had a great time. I had the fish and chips and... More

We've been to Schuler's more than once, since we have friends in Marshall. First off, there is no doubt about the quality of the food served here. The only question is whether it is worth the premium price. In my view, Schuler's is kind of overrated as a location and correspondingly overpriced when compared to the local market offerings. It...
