Great Michigan Stop !

We stopped at Turdyville for the Turkey Dinner Menu on our way to the Holland tulip Festival last year and really enjoyed out lunch. I ordered the Coconut Cr. Pie with my Turkey dinner (which was very good and Hot) and my two friends ordered Turkey Sandwichs and Pies also. We went out back after... read more

We live in Marshall and whenever we have friends visit us in spring, summer or fall we take them to lunch or dinner here. It is an "original" Marshall experience.....we don't go much in winter as it is in the country and travel out there is sometimes difficult. The hot turkey dinner is excellent as well as the buttered turkey... More

Passed through here and only had one day. The campground is immaculate. The sites are level with ample room. Not many trees here. The pool and facilities are clean and in great shape. The campground staff was friendly and efficient. The restaurant is cafeteria style and the prices are medium-high for what you get. The food is average, although the... More

Cornwell's is the place to go for a really good turkey sandwich, homemade ice cream, great bakery items or a fresh turkey to cook at home. They are simple stated, making it kind of touristy, thus the buses you may see outside, but be assured, the food you'll get is top notch ! It's just a fun place with good... More

This was our THIRD time to Cornwell's (May 2010, May 2011) each time for turkey dinner buffet and show/play. First of all for those who've not been there, this is a dinner/theatre, but also has a turkey restaurant, a food counter w/popcorn, ice cream, fudge, etc. and a large general store. The plays/shows are EXCELLENT - fun, entertaining, easy to... More

I've been going to Turkeyville for many years to the flea market, the arts & crafts shows and the dinner theater. Sadly, it all just keeps going downhill. There seems to be fewer and fewer vendors for the outside shows every time I go. Years ago the dinner theater was one of the best show venues around, but the productions... More

Visited this place upon a recommendation from a local hotel. On the outside, it looks like a nice, well-kept family restaurant. On the inside, it's a tired and rundown mess. Bathrooms were dirty at 11:30 am. The counter where we ordered was infested with flies. The turkey dinner consisted of boxed mashed potatoes, bland turkey slices, and dry stuffing covered... More

The menu said "Buttered turkey sandwich on a roll" the turkey turned out to be quarter inch pieces that all fell out of the dinner roll as you tried to eat it.Those left over turkey crumbs should have went into the gravy. The sandwich was not cheap either, cafeteria style service, small portions, sit down restaurant prices. The whole family/turkey/fun gimmick is there, the perceived value... This place has been around for several generations for a reason. From weekend dinner theater to flea market, to craft shows this place has it going on. And don't forget the turkey sandwiches, oh my! I've been going here since I was a young girl and I still look forward to the buttered turkey sandwich or home made blueberry pie.... More

More than eats... The food was very affordable and good. Everything but the mashed potatoes seemed homemade. Definitely will come back to this place!!
