The food that I have had each time I have gone there is delicious but the service is always lousy. The staff is unattentive and acts very indifferent to whether you are there or not. The mugs for "regulars" are an interesting touch to the decor but many of them are dirty and dusty.

Food is incredible, enjoyed everything ever ordered there. Apple Turnover is a secret treat that is huge, something to share among friends. Never go away hungry. Beer is strong and unique, my favorites rotate seasonally. But with increased popularity we lose accessibility to our favorite place to eat and drink. Summer is better with outside garden open, winter weekends are... More

I love the Dark Horse. The food is upscale "bar" food, more like gourmet. I love the mug club and how its integrated into a main focal point of the decor. The beer is consistent, high quality with creative names. It is also a wonderful family place. Start with a Baby Johnny Boy, then have the beefy green salad, share... More

I like riding my Harley to the different Microbreweries around the state and checking them out. This is high on my list because the beer is good and the atmosphere is great. Small interior seating and great outside seating. I had the chili and it was great.

This place is very cool. The interior is well decorated and the food is great. They pretty much just have pizza for their dinner menu but everything tasted good and we were full at the end. The only problem we had was the limited selection on the menu, as other than pizza and appetizers there isn't anything else on the... More

We went on 8-17-2014 for a beer and a pizza both were awesome. The place is very cool an added bonus for us was meeting Bryan Wiggs he was very nice and polite and a pleasure to talk to. The place was very busy and we still received Cold Beer, Very good Food and Service. The outside seating area was... More

We stopped here on our way back from South Haven for an early dinner after seeing the TV show. Our experience was ok. There were no seats inside so we went out to the beer garden and grabbed a picnic table. We ordered a beer from the bar and got some menus. I personally don't drink so I was told... More

Dark Horse is definitely a cool place to experience. Love all the mugs hanging from the ceiling and its just an all around good-vibe kind of place. I love the raspberry beer and I crave the pizza. We had dinner there one night and a bunch of friends ordered sandwiches which looked awesome and they confirmed it. Its much easier... More

Great beer and my kind of place to hang out and drink beer. Definitely not fancy so I felt at home right away. Had the garlic cheese bread and it was great. If you like hanging out with a fun group of beer livers this is the place to be!

And when you visit the Dark Horse (Nation) Brewing Company, remember Marshall MI is a blue collar town and there's nothing pretentious about this brewpub because it's there to do one thing really--make their own great beer to share with alll!! Everything else is just that, everything else. I had wonderful service, a sweet young lady was very helpful with... More
