Good Beer - One of a Kind Atmosphere

Dark Horse has a lot of good beer. They are a little bit on the wild side and tend to pack a punch. The brewery is wild. It's compact and really unique. There are mugs hanging everywhere. There is a table that is also a fish tank. It's just different. Worth a stop for sure.

Came for the beer but enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Not a big place but we arrived at 1:00 on a Saturday afternoon and got a table for seven right away. 45 minutes later there were people waiting for tables. Looks like it would be a fun place in the summer as they have some open outdoor space. Bread bowl... More

The service pretty much sucks when it's busy, so go with an open mind and an empty belly. In the winter it's packed on the weekends, and its tough to find a table so try to coincide your arrival at non peak times. Pizza and sandwiches are excellent, it's so much food don't be afraid to split and share with... More

The ceilings and walls of this place are filled with the mugs of regulars. I had the Crooked Tree IPA and a delightful salad with house made dressing that was like a mexican ranch. Really friendly service. I'd go back!

One of the fun things about west Michigan is the sheer number of breweries and wineries. There is something for everyone and all tastes included. Dark Horse is a cut above the rest of the field. Fun atmosphere and great beer. It was worth the 45 minute drive from Kalamazoo to go here. It was a suggestion from my customer.... More

Had dinner last night at the "Dark Horse Brewing Co." Restaurant is very noisy, hard to have a conversation, besides that it is very interesting place, and something very different. The food is excellent, I had a sub which was delicious, my daughter had a calazone, which she also really enjoyed. Everyone at our table had wonderful food. Food is... More

First timers always stop and stare when they come in the door. This is the tap room for the Dark Horse Brewery, about 10 taps of only their excellent beer on rotation and bar food. More than 4000 ceramic hand-made mugs are hanging over your head that are used by the loyal fans and lucky owners of these mugs. High... More

Dark Horse is a one of a kind Brewing Company with great beer, cheap tour, room for rent, and great music! The food is very reasonable and tasty, special events, and a super large Beer garden.

If you haven't been to Dark Horse Brewery you are missing out on life!! Full disclosure. ..I don't do beer. My husband does. I do pizza....all around ! No one has ever gotten close to this pizza, any pizza on the Dark Horse menu! Not Giordano's, not NY, not even Italy!

It was a rainy afternoon and we dropped in for coffee... Don't make the same mistake. They don't serve coffee!
