A bit of New Orleans in da UP!

We went here to celebrate our wedding anniversary, because we love New Orleans. We were not disappointed! Excellent live music, great food, lots of drink options. My husband had the gumbo, we shared some alligator bites, I had red beans and rice, and it was all very tasty! The service was very... read more

Maybe my expectations were a little high, but I left disappointed. We started with the boudain balls, and they were probably the best thing we had. My husband's crab chops were overcooked on the outside, and he simply didn't care for the red sauce. He did enjoy the Cajun cream sauce, though. I had the shrimp and crawfish and while... More

I eat here when I need a fun place for a business lunch. The quality is always top shelf, and the help is responsive and fun. It's not cheap, but it is quality. I will continue to patronize this restaurant. Oh, and they will happily customize your order....

The food was fabulous and our party had a variety of dishes from jambalaya to seafood Alfredo. The service was excellent and the dessert was amazing, especially the bread pudding! We were also pleasantly surprised when we realized we came for a live music night. Our our of town guests were thrilled with the experience.

Cajun in Marquette, MI, really? I have eaten at Lagniappe at least 6 times on my trips to Marquette and I can't imagine not eating here at least once every time I visit. The food is wonderful. This has been my after race treat for food and dringks after the Ore to Shore Mountain Bike and and the Polar Roll... More

My wife was born and raised in Louisiana and I lived in New Orleans for three years. We both love Cajun food. We found this restaurant to be superior on every level. The service is intelligent, the cooking is superb, and the ambience is genuine Big Easy. Our experience was surprising and very satisfying. The food is truly home made... More

The place looks very cool. Great decor. Slow service. Average food. I understand a shortage on employees but I end up paying for it. Meh!

Great Cajun food in Marquette. You can get to this restaurant from Washington street,or though the alley on Jackson Cut. We started off with an order of hush puppies. They were good but not great. Then we split a bowl gumbo, that was delicious. My wife had the muffuletta sandwich and I had the jambalaya, both were excellent. To finish... More

The staff was very attentive and friendly. Good sized menu and the dishes would be what you can find in NOLA. Had nachos for appetizers very good. Catfish poboy was good but not spicy like they make down south. Fried frog legs platter a ton of food but the frog legs were quite large and seasoned pretty well. They have... More

We decided to try Lagniappe after reading reviews on TripAdvisor. I'm glad we tried it - very unique. My husband had the red beans and rice; I had the low country shrimp and grits - both were very good.
