We still go to the Lagniappe as often as possible, and have been known to stop in sometimes several times a month and would more if not for the hour drive. Wait staff have become more like friends and we are always greeted by "Chef" when he is on the floor. As always, food is outstanding and Chef has done... More

Thank you to the several people who recommended this fantastic choice. Our server "Jess" was knowledgeable about the cuisine, had a great sense of humor, was attentive and added to the overall experience. My choice was the "Crawfish Étouffée" and my husband's was the "Seafood Bouillabaisse." Both of these were amazing. Appetizer was the charbroiled Oyster's on the half shell and... More

Just got home from dinner here.. First.. thank you Natalie W for the stellar service and excellent beer recommendation. I had the shrimp & tasso pasta which was full of tasty shrimps & artichoke & mushrooms. Would love to have more tasso as the flavor is, well....yum. The hubby had the seafood risotto which also had a generous portion of... More

Great creole cajun food and drink. Fun atmosphere and good service. Average pricing, convenient downtown Marquette location. Walking distance to most other "establishments".

We lived in Louisiana for several years. Ever since we moved, we've been consistently disappointed with all the places that call themselves "cajun" but clearly have no idea what the word means. Lagniappe isn't one of those places. This is the best cajun place I've ever eaten at outside of Louisiana.

This place rocks! First I was impressed when researching Lagniappe, Rob the manager responded to many of the reviews ( this impressed me big). Walked in on a Thursday night and a great live band was playing. 3 in my party; we had the fried green tomatoes; good but sliced a little too thick, and the hush puppies which were... More

By far the best thing on the menu is the shrimp, tasso and bowtie pasta, well in my opinion anyway. Very extensive menu, you'll definitely find something that appeals to you. Great drink choices as well. Very friendly staff and an all around fun place.

Every time i go I review the menu thoroughly and always start with the ya ya gumbo. It's all good. And the only great tasting catfish I have had since i left mississippi 30 years ago.

Having eaten here on previous visits, I knew what to expect and was looking forward to the occasion. Sadly, I was disappointed. My husband and I shared a half and half platter...half catfish, half crawfish. What arrived was 3/4 French fries, one catfish filet, some crawfish and a couple of hush puppies. The one catfish filet was nicely breaded. However... More

I reviewed this restaurant two years ago on my last trip and was delighted to find it still in operation. Everything I have had here is right on the mark for Cajun and dinner last night was an excellent primer for my planned trip to New Orleans at the end of the month. The staff is attentive, (perhaps a little... More
