Really good dinner

We just ate here tonight and really enjoyed the meal. I was surprised and thrilled to find that they had a gluten free menu and they even had gluten free breading! I was able to have the fried pickles because the breading was gluten free and they were delicious. I had the jambalaya and my husband... read more

this place is OK. Cajun is not my cup of tea so don't rely on my opion. If you like Cajun you might like the place. Good luck.

We have been to this establishments many times and have never once had poor service, subpar food or drink. The atmosphere is festive, the staff are well trained and know their food, and the menu is diverse, authentic Cajun. This is a can't-go-wrong bet.

Sure it isn't NOLA, but it is very good given the geographical constraints of the UP. Po-boy, jambalaya, and hush puppies were all great along with a Huuricane and Abita beer. Service, including manager, were efficient and friendly.

It's nice having such a place in the north. Portions are huge. Cool rustic looking Cajun restaurant and bar. Nice crowd. Real Cajun food. Highly recommend.

This is the best Cajun food I have had since being in New Orleans. Extensive menu. Amazing drinks. Great dessert. Friendly waitstaff. Will definitely be back.

We only get to Marquette once a year for a hockey tournament, but when we do you bet we go to Lagniappe! Went for Dinner this time, there were four adults, we were all pleased with the extensive beer menu! Server was very good and eager to help us make decisions! We started out with an appetizer each and shared.... More

Fantastic canjun and creole food, especially considering how very far away Marquette is from that area of the country! Went here right after I graduated last May, so of course it was absolutely packed. I know they don't take reservations, but they may want to seriously consider doing so as it isn't that big of a place. It all worked... More

We were blown away by the rudeness of the owner of the restaurant. We had a party of 17 for a surprise birthday party. We were told they didn't take reservations. OK - we understood that, but were blown away by the attitude of the owner when we arrived. Can't believe he has any business with the way he acted.... More
