Dingy dark and over priced food. Music was fun and service was relatively quick. I dont think I will go back or recommend.

Hello, My name is Robert, and I am a manager here at Lagniappe. I am sorry that we didn't meet your expectations. I was curious what you found dingy about our restaurant? Also wanted to know why you thought the food was overpriced. More

A regular stop for us when we eat out. These folks know how to do Cajun food. Be sure and check out the live music if you get a chance!!

I was with several family members and we had a great meal and the service was excellent. Our waitress, Ricky, was knowledgeable of all menu items and she was very attentative. The decor reminded me of the many great restaurants I've enjoyed in New Orleans only Lagniappe was much cleaner.

We have been to Lagniappe about 5 times in the past 2 years and I always enjoy the experience. The food is good and probably the best Cajun you will get in the northern hemisphere. When you you visit, for appetizers I would recommend the hush puppies, Boudin balls, fried pickles, they are all good. I have enjoyed the entrees... More

Crawfish Etouffe is my favorite. Dirty rice, cheddar grit cakes just to name a few of the sides that are offered. Excellent wait staff and the chef always make at least one or two rounds to say Hi to the patrons. Everything is nicely spiced a good break from the bland that seems to abound elsewhere.

Yes, believe it! This former lower level 1940's era bowling alley turned restaurant is as close to Cajon Creole Cuisine as one can expect! The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially when patrons need assistance with choosing from the 100 meal selection menu! I love the gumbo and jambalaya. You can specify the degree of "heat" that you like.... More

The food is pretty spicy wish you could choose the level of spice. Didn't really like the sharing tables because there wasn't enough room for your plates

Just an FYI.. The day you are talking about sharing tables was Mardi Gras Day. That is the only day we do community seating in the restaurant. As for the spicy food, what did you have? We can usually alter the seasoning in most of our food. Thanks for coming in! More

I think one of the food shows had a rating grade of "worth driving out of your way to." This place is awesome !! I admit however that my Louisiana food knowledge is about zero - having only been to New Orleans once (which was enough). I come up each year for the NoQuemenon ski race and since being taken...
