We went to this place on our way through Marquette because the reviews on TripAdvisor are good.......what a massive letdown. The atmosphere is nice (neat building with a view of the lake), beer was fine (but didn't measure up to other regional breweries like Fitger's Brewhouse or Angry Minnow Brewing Co.) and service was friendly, but the food was so... We had a great dinner here. The chicken marsala was tender, juicy and the sauce was delicious. The whitefish picata was top notch and the pasta was perfectly done. Over-all, excellent food. If there was anything to complain about, it was the noise level. Obviously, a lot of Marquette natives know how good this place is - and it was... More

We've been here many times over the years - although we live elsewhere. The food is very good. The atmosphere is somewhat eclectic but interesting. Lots of artwork on the walls and historical pieces. They prepare their entrees well and there's a good diversity. It's a regular stop for the Marquette crowd and I understand why. Great view of the... More

There menu is limited and the food is just average. I only go there when someone else wants to go there and I can't convince them to go elsewhere.

Though I ordered something relatively "safe", the French Dip was extremely good. The building is a restored historical brick building, and you can see the entire brewery in the lower level. I would have like to sample some of the beer, however, I was in a business meeting!

We went here twice, and found the beer to be a lot better than the food. I'd recommend starting with a flight of beer as some varieties were more pleasing than others, and availability does vary. We has the whitefish, large portions, unbelievably fresh but the cooking was painfully plain. The grilled whitefish was accompanied by plain green beans, plain,... More

We stopped in for a couple beers and they were delicious. We had a variety of things - wheats, darks, IPAs and they were very good. Fast and friendly service. The bartender was whipping up some fall drinks that looked delicious but we were there very early in the day and didn't want this to be our last stop so... More

Nice place, we stopped in for a beer and lunch. All in all it was very good, quick service, good food and nice warm atmosphere.

We were in Marquette one night and decided on this restaurant for dinner after many recommendations. We certainly were not disappointed and in fact surprised. It is not your usual brewery fare. First of all this is an 1883 saloon that has been restored with lots of antiques and stained glass windows. On the upper level, the tables have a... More

The food was good, but nothing special. Had the Layered white fish, and it was not well seasoned, just very bland. The service was good, and the atmosphere was very nice.
