We had a nice dinner here on a Saturday night. The whitefish with fresh vegetables was delightful. Friendly, attentive staff.

Very good food and nice bar but very small. Usually have to wait to get a table but have been there several times and we have always had delicious food and drinks! Seasonal limited outdoor seating with limited menu.

Great food and great atmosphere. Owner/operator is always there when we go and is always pleasant. The place is small, but that just adds to the atmosphere if you ask me. I do not believe this establishment is child friendly since I have never seen a high chair or booster.

I come to the Portside on a regular basis. It's one of my favorite spots in Marquette. Their deck seating in the summer is awesome. Some key things to try on the menu: the nachos are huge and so amazing. The breadsticks have this cheese spread that is incredible. My regular order is the Edmund (Reuben) and a bowl of... More

We frequently have lunch at this restaurant every time we're in Marquette. One of our favorite things is their soup, especially the mushroom portabella and the French onion. The sandwiches and the burgers are also excellent. We've had many of the items on the menu and have not been disappointed. The Portside also carries many great local beers, along with... More

The service is incredible and has a very warm and inviting feel that makes you want to stay all day. The bread stick's are a got to have every time. I would recommend the pizza and one of the local UP beers to go with it.

I've been to almost every restaurant and bar in Marquette and the Portside is by far my favorite. I've literaly been there about 300 times in the last three years and I will continue to go back. The atmosphere, the food, the waitstaff and everything else there is all top notch.

Felt like I was eating in a rustic country house. Food is really good. Breadsticks warm and tasty. Onion soup is the real deal. Burger was perfect. Would go back again. I'm reading reviews of bad service. Did not experience this. Did have to wait so had a beer at the bar. Both bartender and waitress friendly and efficient.

Happy hour is 4-6. They have many local brews. The breadsticks are great here and they have excellent pizza. You may experience a wait if you go during typical busy times but the wait is worth it!
