While in Marquette we ate at the Portside in for something different. Food was good and waitress was friendly. Its a cute little bar but not a lot of seating. The hambergers were very good at a very good price. Good place for a quick bite if your not looking for a large menu.

We moved to Marquette a few weeks ago and heard the Portside had a good selection of beers on tap. We went on a very busy Saturday night. They had 6 of 7 Michigan beers on tab. In fact they only have Mi. beers on tap. Other selections in bottle or cans. The bartender was very friendly and quick to... More

We have been going to the Portside for as long as I can remember. When visiting Marquette it's the first and the last place we go. We have never had a bad meal or bad service. #1 item their famous breadsticks.

We had a nice dinner here on a Saturday night. The whitefish with fresh vegetables was delightful. Friendly, attentive staff.

Very good food and nice bar but very small. Usually have to wait to get a table but have been there several times and we have always had delicious food and drinks! Seasonal limited outdoor seating with limited menu.

Great food and great atmosphere. Owner/operator is always there when we go and is always pleasant. The place is small, but that just adds to the atmosphere if you ask me. I do not believe this establishment is child friendly since I have never seen a high chair or booster.

I come to the Portside on a regular basis. It's one of my favorite spots in Marquette. Their deck seating in the summer is awesome. Some key things to try on the menu: the nachos are huge and so amazing. The breadsticks have this cheese spread that is incredible. My regular order is the Edmund (Reuben) and a bowl of... More

We frequently have lunch at this restaurant every time we're in Marquette. One of our favorite things is their soup, especially the mushroom portabella and the French onion. The sandwiches and the burgers are also excellent. We've had many of the items on the menu and have not been disappointed. The Portside also carries many great local beers, along with... More

The service is incredible and has a very warm and inviting feel that makes you want to stay all day. The bread stick's are a got to have every time. I would recommend the pizza and one of the local UP beers to go with it.
