Business Lunch Special

The atmosphere is really nice with great views outside. I ordered the Business lunch special for $20 that came with a soup, entree, side, and dessert. The lobster bisque was probably the best I've ever had but I was rather disappointed with the white fish. There was a surcharge for ordering the... read more

We celebrated my nephew's graduation from NMU recently by dining with family and one of his friends at the Chop House. It was well-liked by everyone at the table and especially by my nephew, who had been living on $10 and rice & beans the last two weeks of his college career. We started off with a Bruschetta appetizer that... More

My friend and I went in for lunch today and had the pleasure of being waited on by Paden. He had fantastic wine recommendations and was very helpful and kind! We got the Garlic Chicken and it was delicious! We will be back again!

They have a very nice selections of fresh oysters you can have on the half shell or with Rockefeller, etc. They were delicious. I had the 14.0z ribeye steak and it was cooked to perfection. The twice baked potato accompanying it was the seasoned twice bake from a whole potato, stuffed into a half potato shell. It was delicious as... More

If you like tough, tasteless, expensive steaks this is the place to go. The manager, to her credit, comped us a couple of drinks and a small portion off our meal but didn't seem engaged to our concerns at all. There are much better places to eat at in Marquette for far less money. Disappointed!

Made a reservation for 4 and were told to wait while "our table was prepared" as I scanned 6 empty 4 tops in the dining room. We spent $300 for the 4 of us: the bread basket consisted of old baguette that is passed off as "crisped"; lobster tempura that was actually vegetable tempura and two lobster tails with no... More

Read the reviews and was in town for one day and was my wife's birthday. Very neat atmosphere and with the birthday card waiting at out table, I was very impressed at first. Bread was hard and stale. One type of bread was good, we got more. Oyster Rockafeller was under cooked and every one that I had, had shell... More

Can't say enough how great the food and service are. Our steaks were done perfectly. One in our party has a food allergy. Her entree was modified to accommodate with delicious results. Tom has done Marquette proud.

Lunches are a good value, always good. Dinner is very good, Marquette's priciest, but reasonable. Lunch on the deck in the summer is nice.

Probably the most upscale atmosphere in town. The lunch menu is terrific. The dinner menu is mostly great but needs some tweaking. I had the Filet with scallops. The scallops were bitter due to the scorching of the olive oil used which made them taste bitter. For the price the bar charges for drinks the bartenders should free pour and... More
