We had a family gathering of 8 siblings and spouses. Easy to have conversation and a lovely atmosphere on the heated, screened in deck. The food was tremendous! The service was a bit slow and the server was pleasant but seemed to lack confidence. Overall, very, very nice and nice to be able to make a reservation (recommended).

In order to hold the cost down for my meal, I had a salad for my starter, with the shrimp appetizer and baked creamed spinach for main course. The salad was very good, but the shrimp and spinach were just "ok." Heavy on the salt for my taste. Others at our table had prime rib or whitefish meals, and seemed... More

We all had steak for dinner and while it was ok the service seemed a little slow IMO. Also tried a few appetizers -- sushi like thing and wisconsin cheese plate. The sushi thing was so bad we could not eat it. The cheese plate was very good.

We had a wonderful dinner here. The staff takes great care of their guests. The food is excellent as are the drinks. We would come back if we get back to Marquette again.

A friend and I spent 10 days touring Michigan. We had dinner every night at a restaurant recommended by the locals. During that time we were able, with wine, and tip, to hold our bill to around $75. At Elizabeth's we had a hard time ordering as everything was so very expensive. The view was nice, but all in all... More

Great meal, great service! It was the best meal we had on our vacation in the UP. The whitewash was superb and the tenderloin was tender and tasty. Next time in the UP splurge a little and try Elizabeth's Chop House.

On a recent trip to Marquette, my husband wanted a steak. Several people suggested Elizabeth's Chop House. It was a Monday night, but still fairly busy. They sat us right away and my husband and I had a cocktail before we ordered. I had a French Kiss martini. It was very sweet, but yummy! Everything was excellent. My husband had... More

By far the finest restaurant in the Marquette area. Prices are big city level but as in everything else you get what you pay for. Steaks are good sized and delicious. Alcohol is a little pricy compared to other local establishments but a fair drink is poured. Great lake view on patio

Sorry to report that IMHO this place is going downhill. The service does remain excellent though. I have eaten here several times over the past years and will even say that 2 years ago had one of the best filet meals ever! More recently my steaks have been overdone - while they do offer to make another, I know that... More

We live in the area and not eaten there. Duck salad was excellent. My steak was overdone. I watch halibut was dry. You would think for $40 that would be more careful with it. Our guests had pasta and he complained it wasn't enough garlic. The wine list is extensive. There are better values for fine dining in the market... More
