This was a nice lunch stop as we passed through Manistique. The menu offers many different sandwiches, several salads, 2 soup options, and a few desserts. I had a very nice Greek salad - loved the addition of pickled beets! Others in our group had very generous sandwichs on fresh bread/toast. You order and pay for food at the counter... More

Thank you for your comments regarding your past experience for you - I am very sorry that the service may have been slow for you during your visit. We recently had two of our main staff become injured (back/neck issues), so we have been scrambling to fill in the gaps while they have been recovering. During a busy day at... More

Just love this place! Great sandwiches, wonderful soups, friendly staff, fabulous view! There is also a great local art gallery right next door. It is a little off the beaten path - look for the signs on the south side of US 2 just west of downtown Manistique.

Great food, best homemade sandwiches I've had and the view of the Manistique lighthouse and port are so nice to look at. Diverse menu with super friendly service!

We have eaten here many times and have never had a bad lunch. It has great soups as well as sandwiches. We go there every time we are in town which is at least once a summer. The service is great and I love the additional space they have added.

I'm SO GLAD that the Upper Crust came to Mano. Being a fan of fresh food and healthy choices, I truly appreciate their menu...as well as their friendly service. I've never had a bad experience in my many visits...always a lively taste-treat. The service has always been wonderful and the water-side atmosphere is fantastic. Thanks!

On cold 63 degree day in July we stopped here for lunch and had soup and sandwich with their freshly baked bread. For dessert we picked delicious cookies. Friendly staff, clean restaurant. Gourmet sandwiches with large selection

We were driving home to the Lower Peninsula and stopped here. We were SO happy we did. the staff was wonderful and helpful, the food was DELICIOUS! The soup was some of the best I've ever had and the homemade crackers were a-m-a-z-i-n-g! Both my husband and I enjoyed our sandwiches and the atmosphere. If in town I'd definitely recommend... More

This is the best restaurant in Manistique- definitely #1. Today, I went for lunch with my husband and his mother. They try a new sandwich on Tuesdays (Try it Tuesday) and today's sandwich was spinach, artichoke, with melted mozzarella & provolone cheeses on the bread of your choice, toasted!!! My mother in law and I both had it- we both... More

The atmosphere here is bright, open, and comfortable, the food is always wonderful, and the staff goes out of their way to make your visit the best possible. You can always count of the upper crust for sandwiches, baked goods, and (when they open late) a wonderful dinner. You know its gonna be great when people rave about their grilled... More
