Quality food and service

Small diner type restaurant with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Service was great and the waitress brought us exactly what we wanted - no complaints there. Food was also good - bf and I had eye toast, pancakes, breakfast bowl, and Salmon Benedict. We both agreed it was tastey and we'd come back... read more

I tell people about this place all the time. It's your grandma's kitchen, if she were a genius chef. Maybe she is, if so, she could work here. The owner greets us frequently, the wait isn't ever too bad, and the food is always worth it. Creme brulee baked french toast is amazing.

This place delivers on breakfast as the name clearly states. Though they do have some lunch foods,it's all about breakfast here. Expect a very long wait on weekends especially between 10 and noon. But that tells you the story. Their food is terrific. Service is mostly good but sometimes really slow. Mostly because they're just super busy.

Food is good. Service is good. Small cozy place serving only about 10 tables. Have daily specials as well as a menu. Serve breakfast and lunch. I have only had their breakfast, but have never had a complaint yet, and have been going for years. They have a 'special' french toast which is their specialty. It is huge and delicious.... More

My sister and nephew went to the place and they loved it. So, I decided to try it out. It is a small place (about 10 tables), very homey. As I entered, I was greeted by a very friendly waitress and proceed to get some the best coffee I have ever tasted. Then, after trying to decided if I wanted... More

I am so disappointed that I have to write this review on a restaurant that I have considered a go-to place for great breakfast. My husband and I decided to eat a nice Easter Sunday breakfast at this restaurant. About 6 hours later he was in the bathroom with lava coming out both ends. The food poisoning episode came and... Great place. I've only been here one other time since July last year since they close so early. The times Im awake and willing to travel here I haven't been disappointed. First time I was with my gf and I got french toast and bacon. I wanted the creme brulee french toast but they were sold out. My gf got... More

My wife and I were on our way somewhere else when we stopped for breakfast on a whim. We were lucky and got one of the five outdoor tables and were seated immediately. I had French crepes with berries, Chantilly cream, and berry sauce with a side of sausage links. My wife had the brie, mushroom, and thyme omelet with... More

We can be a hard sell as a group; one of us likes salads, one likes seafood, one is a cheese lover, and I like breakfast. We were all happy here, with a Traverse City salad too big to eat in one sitting, a crab cake Benedict, eggs Florentine, and a lobster quesadilla. We added a lobster bisque and substituted... More
