Great Food and atmosphere

Great views of the water and Shepler's Ferry. The food was good and reasonably priced for the area and the service was great

A bus group came in for dinner the same night we were there but it wasn't a problem. They were the only ones there to dine other than one other couple. There was live entertainment, performed Gordon Lightfoot songs and was very good. Very nice bartender.

Food was just OK. It can get noisy inside with the sound of a model train on a track above your head circling the restaurant. It echoes when it blows its whistle.

When does head lettuce count as "mixed greens"? Tough steak. Fish and chips had an unappealing aftertaste. Fried pickles and cauliflower were both good but everything else was disappointing.

Nice outdoor seating. We had chicken salad and a cheese burger. Friendly folks. Not a romantic getaway but that's not what they are shooting for. Not sure it stood out enough to go back next time in the area.

My sister said her cheeseburger was great, I found the meatloaf really needed seasoning, but wasn't too bad. My biggest complaint was the cost of a very small cup of chocolate milk for the kids...$2.50!!!! Come on, guys!!

Great food, had a cute train that ran around ceiling, good food, fast service, friendly. Historic building with pictures from the past. Plenty of seating.

We stopped in for lunch and tried some of their sandwiches and wraps. Delicious and filling food! Some of the best homemade chips I have eaten and my tuna salad in the garlic herb wrap was phenomenal. Everyone left full. The children loved the miniature train that was constantly chugging away around the restaurant and the adults loved the old... More

The "Bad": New waitress, a few days into the job but she was very helpful and courteous. A little faster on the drinks and she would have been great! The "Good": Great food! Their fish and chips was excellent and my wife's smothered chicken looked very good and she says it was delicious. We both don't understand why some people... More

This place looked cool...a restaurant in a train depot....wrong! This place has bad service and unfair prices for food. We probably wont come back here again.
