Yum

Should have taken a photograph but it was so good it was gone before I thought of it. Suggest you order an original, although they offer Italiano and Stroganoff???? Not hungry? You can get them to go for later

If you visit you have to try a pasties. They are something of a tradition with our family. They are also really good with gravy!

I'd never had Pasties and didn't realize what a treat we were in for. Pasties are a little like a hybrid of tourtiere, meat pies, and jamaican patties. Yumm. Staff was helpful in describing. These made for a tasty, quick meal in a hurry. I would take some frozen ones home next time.

My current favorite pasty and some of the best ever, I am enjoying one right now in St Louis after having my folks bring some down at Christmas. Ask for them frozen and get them by the dozen. They will ship them to you but the cost is prohibitive. Keep up the good work!

Thank you for your kind review! We are hoping to be able to reduce the cost of shipping next year. Would you be interested in shipping 6 pasties rather than 12? More

I've had pasties all over the UP of MI, some good, some bad, but these are never bad. I prefer moist and juicy pasties, and these fit the bill. I now live in the LP and when I get a hankering for pasties, I head here. I even grab a few for later. Even when I visit family in Escanaba,... More

In my opinion this is the best Pastie shop located below the "Big Mac" bridge. Excellent service and great food at a reasonable price. Centrally located - just minutes from all of the attractions. So fuel up your stomach before starting your sightseeing adventure. Don't forget to get a copy of the "mail order" menu to make your Christmas shopping... More

Took home six frozen pasties , 5 veggie and 1 chicken . we did not have a cooler so and a 4 hour drive ahead of us so we were hoping they would stay frozen (somewhat) at least . The girl at the counter was very helpful . Packed them so carefully , they were still frozen 4 hours later... More

The Mackinaw Pastie and Cookie Company has the best pasties in the area and their cookies are very good too. I ahve tried a few different places in the area and by far these are the best south of the bridge. The service is good and the ambiance is cozy. Nest time I am taking some home for the freezer.

Service was great and the pasties were excellent. No charge to split one for a lighter meal. We even took 6 home frozen. Great food, value and staff!

Based on a previous visit, when we overnighted in Mackinaw City on a recent trip to Wisconsin, we stopped here for a dozen beef pasties to go. The idea was to take supper for the three of us back to the RV, and freeze the rest for on the road or later. It's been two weeks, we are back home,... More
