Slow service - ok food

Ordered chili (good) and onion rings. Finished chili and still no rings. Surprised they did not have whitefish and chips. Can count the customers on two hands. Not much else open in town. Will try another place for dinner.

Jake was our waiter and he was still in the newly phase of learning the art of food service. He was very attentive (we were very needy on a break from our quilting retreat), he has a happy personality and did a very good job from greeting us to giving us the check. We would come back again the next... More

This saloon was where drivers would celebrate completing the drive of the Dixie Hwy (now basically I-75) from Florida where it ended in Mackinaw City (before the bridge was built to the Upper Peninsula). The beer selection was good and the food tasty, although the menu was a bit unimaginative. There were few choices of where to eat on an... More

Stopped in because we got a discount from our hotel. Good fish n chips and shrimp n chimps. Good service and a unique experience. Right across from sheplers ferry and in downtown mackinaw city. Would recommend and go back.

Stopped in here on a recommendation from a friend who grew up in the area. Great ribs, fair priced for the location, and service was pleasant and prompt. Sue was very nice!

Great personality. Very helpful. We were there at least six or more times for drinks, appetizers, and/or dinner. Tina was always very helpful suggesting the different food to try. One of our favorite was the prime rib. There salads always look so nice and are very fresh. Tina was a great.

Find somewhere else. The drinks were poorly made and incredibly overpriced. All the food tasted like it had just come out of the freezing and microwaved. I couldn't eat my potato or my veggie medly, it was that bad. The steak was thin and overcooked, the wings fatty, and the calamari chewy and bland. Fake butter, runny sour cream. Basically... More

Our family eats here every year when we visit Mackinaw City. Try to get a table upstairs - the view is really pretty. The food is pretty good - can be as inexpensive or expensive as you like. We usually go for lunch and order burgers/sandwiches. Service has always been good.
