We haven't eaten here since they remodeled the place after the fire, which has been at least a few years. I dined here with my DD and two of her college friends. I ordered a pizza, and wow, I have to say it was excellent. Everyone ordered different items and everyone was happy with their choices. However, you simply can't... More

My wife and I stopped late one evening to grab a bite to eat and were pleasantly surprised. The pizza was very good and the cheesy breadsticks were excellent. The surprise for us was the mackinaw bridge museum upstairs. It's free to go up there and see all of this information and displays. There is a movie that runs on... More

My dad and the former owner shared the same first name and birthdate and before the fire, they had their picture taken together by the mantel and it was hung on that mantle. Amazing pizza and the museum upstairs is still loaded with great information on the building of the Mackinac Bridge.

Every time we are in Mackinaw City we eat here and the pizza is always amazing. The service could be a little better but it's still good.

The food is pretty good, the location is right in the middle of town and shops. The great thing about Mama Mia's is the museum up stairs. You order your pizza then go up stairs to the museum. You can watch a great video of the construction of the Mackinaw Bridge. Then your pizza is ready. 2 birds with one... More

My parents are locals, so I've been to mama mias several times over the past few years. By far used to be one of my favorite places to come eat and drink. I loved the atmosphere and service. My last visit I ran into an employee who was the RUDEST. I went up to the bar, not realizing the bar... More

The pizza tastes marginally alright, but there were hardly any toppings. I ordered a medium with pepperoni, and then pineapple as well on just half of the pizza. She charged me for pineapple over the entire thing, and when the pizza was ready, there was almost no pepperoni and the pineapple didn't even cover half of the pizza, and there... More

Having been at this restaurant at every trip we've made to Mackinaw City--our first was 37 years ago--I admit that I am prejudiced and missing seeing ol' JC there. He was a Mackinaw City icon! It's a memory and good pizza! We miss the old museum upstairs (the whole restaurant burned down many years ago) and the old smell--the fans... More

We love coming here whenever we come to Mackinaw! Love the garlic bread and today we tried a new pizza (to us)- cheeseburger. Delicious!

Loved being able to walk around the museum for free while we waited for our pizza! The kids loved it and it was educational! The pizza was great!
