A review on this place said it was a good place to take 14 yelling kids (paraphrased). It was. Breakfast at night was almost up to the OK level.

Been here several times. Always a main stay while we are visiting area. Didn't have the buffet but should have as it took a long time to get our food. Eggs benedict were tasty. Kids had pancakes custom to their personal tastes.

This is our second time eating at Pancake Chef and we enjoyed both times. They're right downtown so easy access. Both times we were able to get a table right away. Wait staff was friendly and responsive. They offer a buffet as well as regular food. Buffet has some soup and salad choices and a lot of breakfast food. My... More

The food was good during our first visit, we went the next day for breakfast. The buffet had your typical mashed potatoes and variety of meats. The flavor was excellent and the service was even better. Keep up the good work!

Gluten-free pancakes were tasty, and they let me sub them for regular ones with no increase in price, The restaurant was clean, with good and cheerful service.

Great for breakfast or dinner. Decor is dated, but food and service are excellent! Large restaurant too, they easily accommodated our multifamily group.

They serve breakfast for dinner if ordered on menu. Dinner buffet did not look very appealing to me, just ordered fresh fish and chips, this was good choice. Fish was very tasty, would order this again. Server was very helpful . Old looking decor, but did not hurt food quality. Outside could use a makeover to attract more customers.

You will feel like you stepped back in time with the dated decor however, the food will not dissappoint. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to keep our drinks refilled and make sure we were doing good. The breakfast bar was $10.95 and included all the breakfast staples, eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit,... More

Stopped here after a bad motel breakfast. We had the Original Breakfast Pastie ($9.99) and the Western Breakfast Skillet with Pancakes ($10.29.) Both were very good. They offer a Breakfast Buffet too. According to the menu the restaurant is also open for dinner.
