Beers n Bangers

We were seated fast, but others around us waited for a time to be seated during peak hours. Cool small wooden booths on the main floor but what is up with all the unused seating upstairs? Good selection of draft beer. Local craft brews were $5.50 for a pint. Our service from Barbara was... read more

The Guiness has to be good...drinks for the four of us were fine and we should have stopped there. The food was not good. I had a Reuben with onion rings: rings were burnt and sandwich swimming in grease. Spoke to the server but the only offer was for a substitution. This was not a good dining experience (and the... We ate here twice during our stay once for lunch and once just some apps drinks and desert. The service was good, food is average, although the fish and chips was very good. This is also connected to the Dixie Saloon which we ate as well. Same menus just different names for things. The ribs at the Dixie were good... More

I had the Guinness Pie and my wife had the fish and chips. My mother is Irish and this is the only place I found that had the Guiness Pie recipe just right. This was my best meal in Mackinaw City. We were on our honeymoon and loved the food.

I learned enough about this place to know when we return to Mackinac City, we will NOT waste our time coming here to eat.

Just average, service and food. Can say that price is honest and fries was the best thing. Restrooms could be cleaner though.

We had the shepherd's pie and it was not the best we have had, but it was very good. We liked the Guinness on tap!

Overall the food was about as good as any other restaurant. My son's burger was a bit burnt and the food was a bit pricy but for the most part we enjoyed our meal.
