I met up with some old friend here and we sat down for the fish it was Superb Really recommend this place and there food.
The food was average quality, the price was in the upper end, and decor was good. Also, the view was nice even during the winter.
I always stop in here when I visit Mackinaw, and this last visit was no different. When I arrived I was the only person, yet had to wait. I ordered a bean dip and a salad. The bean dip was burnt and overcooked and the salad that claimed to have "mixed lettuce and chicken" had iceburg lettuce and from what... More
We ended up here to watch the Michigan game airing on the Big 10 Network - this was the only place we could find it. During the afternoon (Saturday) it was pretty dead and the bartender was good, but the overall service was just so so. After the evening crowd came in and things picked up it got better. There... We were a wee bit disappointed in O'Reilly's. While we hadn't heard one thing or another about this place, when I think of an Irish Pub, I think good ale and grub. Well, they have the ale part down (THANKFULLY!). We were in Mackinaw for my 40th and my husband and I came here. We both ordered the Souvenir Mugs... More
My wife and I stopped in for dinner for the first night that we were in town. It’s a nicely decorated restaurant with good pub food with plenty of bottled beers to select from. At the time that we walked in, they weren’t as packed as other restaurants, but still we had to sit at the bar. The bartender was... More
The decor was very nice, and the bar is huge. Food was wonderful and our server was very sweet and helpful. It's alittle dark in there, but still nice. It's connected to Dixie Saloon, on the opposite side of the building, only it has an irish setting. Very interesting, and was it quiet when my husband and I went there... More
We dined at O;Reilly's, but learned that O'Reilly's and the Dixie Saloon were attached and had the same owner. They also shared a kitchen, so the menus were similar. O'Reilly's was small, but cleans and had excellent food. We each ordered the Perch Platter for dinner and found the portions more than ample. The food was perfectly cooked and served... More
Good burger, decent fried scallop appetizer. Tasty beer. Good Irish decor. Bartender busy but reasonably friendly. Overall menu was appealing. Odd that it was connected to the Dixie Saloon. We sat at the bar, but a couple came in to sit at a high table near the bar and we overheard that they had to go to the hostess at... More
The wait staff was very fast, someone at the bar did a fantastic job on the black and tan's, yes plural, and the food was really tasty, we took some home because the portion, even for the two of us, was more than we could eat.
