Stopped for dinner on 12/12 with a friend and had the smelt and fries special that included the salad bar. Food was fresh, well prepared, and tasty. Salad bar items were also very fresh and tasted great. I normally just eat breakfast here but am very glad I ate dinner! Smelt was a very large portion and fries had a... More

After eating dinner at a pizza place in town, we headed to Audie's for drinks and desserts. The drinks were excellent, as well as all the wonderful desserts. We all got something different and shared bites. The Michigan Maple Sundae is truly a specialty, and if it is your birthday, you get it free! Hot Fudge Cream Puff is to... More

Warm décor with knotty pine wood and photos of the Mackinac bridge. Friendly staff, comfortable booths and round and square tables with rattan backs help make it a homey atmosphere. The open-faced broiled whitefish sandwich on homemade toast with coleslaw and homemade dill tartar sauce and really really good French fries in my favourite ($9.99). My husband likes the BLT... Stopped for breakfast before crossing the bridge. Best jam. Had to buy a few jars. Stopped on the way back a few days later to pick up more. I have to hide them from my hubby so they last longer.

We stopped for lunch on our way to the UP for college tours. The food was homemade and we had the special BBQ sandwich. Really enjoyed the excellent waitress and the food. Plus very affordable. We will stop in again when we are in the area, maybe a lot if my daughter chooses a college in the UP.

I have been going to Audie's to celebrate special occasions all of my life. I have been there for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, showers and baptisms. The food is always exceptional in the Chippewa room. The family side has a great salad bar and dinner specials that taste like homemade. It is always an enjoyable experience!

You're in Mackinaw. Enjoy Northern Michigan Cuisine. Leave your problems outside, ask for Noel, save room for pie. This is one of those restaurants you will enjoy. Nothing fancy but just very good food at a very good price, in sight of the bridge. If you don't know what the Bridge is, you have no business being Up North, log... More

We stopped in on our trip back to N.D. for soup and sandwiches. The sandwiches were great, but me and my wife both agree the soup was outstanding. She had tomato basil and I had the beef vegetable, both homemade and both outstanding, thanks.

Our chose of resturants were limited due to the fact that many had closed for the season but Audie's came with good reviews so we decided to try it. Overall the food was really good - my husband and I each got a different fish dinner and were satisfied with it. My kids enjoyed the spaghetti and nuggets as well.... More
