The Derby burger and the Lobster BLT were fantastic. The waitstaff was friendly and very attentive. A nice place to take a break from walking & biking around the island.

In spending a weekend on Mackinac Island, we ended up a the seabiscuit cafe three different times.....so this does say something good for the restaurant!
Our first visit was for an after dinner drink after a very disappointing dinner at an establishment across the street. Our waitress was very accommodating, even switching out a beer no questions asked for my...

My boyfriend and I are working and living on the Island this summer. We've made it our goal to go to every shop and try every restaurant. Today we ventured into the Seabiscuit, and like others have said, it has a nice atmosphere. The lady who greeted us was very nice, and this is about all the positive I have...

Nice looking place, comfortable seating. I had the lobster/shrimp salad sandwich. It was more shrimp than lobster but pretty good. Tasted like canned shrimp - too bad it wasn't fresh shrimp. My date had the pulled pork sandwich - it was yummy. I also had sweet potato fries which were excellent. Good service too.
Great meal here, drinks, etc., but the service was a bit slow, and they weren't exceptionally busy! Food was great, reasonably and intimate ambiance...would go there again!
Delicious hamburgers, Huge Taco Salad, right on Main Street with views of the carriages going by. Staff also very attentive to my egg allergy.
I have eaten here before and it was just as good as I remembered. It is a little on the smallish side and most tables are joined together, but the casual atmosphere is very appealing - I LOVE the equine decor!
Service here was awesome! It is a very small restaurant, so there was a wait. The host felt bad that we had to wait and he bought my husband and me a drink from the bar to have while we waited. All of the staff were very friendly and we had a great time talking to all of them. They...

We looked forward to lunch at Seabiscuit Cafe on our departure day from the Island, but were shocked at the prices. We ended up sharing a lunch and the serving was very skimpy and (we felt) over priced. We have not eaten there again and probably won't.
This is one of our favorites on the island. Food is more creative. We have eaten here numerous times and quality is consistently good. As we are a group of ladies we really like being able to just order a large selectiton of appetizers and share them around, and this place has lots of good options. Staff is very nice.
