I visited the Pink Pony twice during my last stay on Mackinac. They have both an open-air and covered patio to enjoy. Lunch was decent but we were mostly there for the drinks. Price and selection are reasonable, but the view of the water and the boats coming in an out make this a great place to spend a lazy... More

While visiting Mackinac island make sure you spend some time at the Pink Pony bar in the Chipawa hotel right on the harbor. The views are amazing overlooking the straits of mackinaw as well as fantastic historic downtown Mackinac Island The pony has good entertainment as well as good food & amazing atmosphere with hometown feel & great drinks.

the atmosphere is sports bar and pub; food was average, not out of this world delicious but not at all bad. They are known for their bloody Mary's, it was good but very peppery. I only ordered one, 2nd drink was beer. The island was closing for the season so many of the menu items were no longer available. Staff... More

No trip to the Island is complete without a stop at the Pink Pony! Many seating options and great menu that offers a variety of choices no matter what you are in the mood for. Great service and a rich historic background. I have visited many of the other places to eat and drink on the Island and the best... More

The food turned out to be much better than I expected from a place that has kitschy stuff all over the walls. I had the prime rib French dip, which was delicious, and my friend had the white fish tacos, which were excellent. Homemade chips, which are a nice touch.

Fantastic food -- and not just traditional bar food! The wine is priced reasonably (compared to our hotel) and the wait staff and bartenders are all fantastic. Live music isn't bad either.

My wife and I stopped for a light lunch early one afternoon in October. We'd had a big breakfast at our B&B so each of us just had soup - a tomato bisque and a pumpkin bisque. Both were large servings for $5.95 each and we loved them - just what we needed to top off the tank on a... More

Overnighter during peak season. Loved all the hustle & bustle. Stayed at The Chippewa where the Pink Pony Bar resides. Drinks are tssry & potent. Food was good too. You can dine outside & watch the ferrys pull in & out. The staff was very friendly & handling our luggage is a no-brainer for them. I've never seen so many... More

We are semi-regulars on the Island, but for some reason had failed to eat at the Pink Pony. We arrived for lunch on a recent visit and were promptly seated at a table with a beautiful harbor side view. I ordered a Pony Burger with cheddar which was truly one of the best burgers I have ever had. We subbed... More
