We have eaten here several times. We are never disapointed. The prime rib sandwich on the lunch menu is great. Hot fries, and great home-made kettle chips too.

We dropped in for a drink and a late night snack, there were eight of us and were welcomed and seated fast. Even though there was a tour group dining there, this did not take away from our service

I had done some research before arriving. Based on reviews we decided to come here for lunch. We were not disappointed! The service was prompt and courteous. The sandwich selection was great with a lot of very unique and well paired flavors. Prices were very reasonable for Mackinac Island as well. We were there at 1 PM on a sunny... More

The tavern is off the main street and so it is not so difficult to get a table. They had a good selection of beers and the food was delicious.

Came to the island on a chilly day after labor day. This place was wonderful, short walk off main street. Awesome soup and sandwich lunch.

This is a large bar/restaurant, well decorated with a colonial theme. The food is well prepared, the service is fast and friendly. They have a full bar. Family friendly kind of place. As with everything on Mackinac Island expect to pay 25% more than on the mainland.

The atmosphere was beautiful, reminded me of what I would have expected from a early 1800's house. The staff was excellent! Very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent!

Neat atmosphere inside. Had our kids- one with food allergies- and they were very accommodating. We actually picked this place based on trip advisor reviews and they were spot on!

There was 12 of us and we made reservations, all was ready for us when we arrived. We had appetizers, risotto cheese balls, Mussels Diablo and chicken lettuce wraps. The cheese balls and mussels were great but the lettuce wraps were not very well done. We enjoyed the prime rib and the special, New York strip with a crab cake,... More
