We stopped after dinner and had mint Grasshoppers, Great Turtle with butterscotch and Brandy Alexanders. All delicious and a nice nightcap!

We discovered this restaurant in three years ago and it's where we always eat lunch and dinner when we stay on the island. The food is excellent and the service prompt. For the island, the food is reasonably priced but the quality is the best. The atmosphere is a cross between colonial quaint and a "Murder She Wrote" set but... More

Service was excellent. Food was very good. My wife and I went for lake fish, both the Whitefish and the Walleye. Both were fresh, tasty, and good sized portions. Wine and beer selection provided plenty of good choices. Close to a 5, but vegetable needed more pizazz.

This restaurant was a great choice for our large group. Our two families were seated together and pretty quickly. There were a ton of choices, so it was easy for everyone to find something. I was thrilled to see they had GLUTEN FREE options for our daughter. She was so happy to have a hamburger with a bun! There was... More

We had the Whitefish over mashed potatoes. Excellent. This is a good place to eat which would be great it they did not pack so many tables into such a small room. Noisy!

We were on Mackinac for the July 4th weekend with the usual crowds yet we had no trouble getting a table for a family of 6 just after lunchtime. Our server couldn't have been more pleasant and prompt. The food was a very nice surprise for a touristy area. We'll eat here again.

Food is consistently good every visit. Varied menu, excellent fish and sandwiches, and something for everyone in the family.

Prices are steep but this is all part of the tourist attraction ... 'you are a fudgie and don't forget it!' I had a Prime Rib on Sourdough bread and it was wonderful. My wife had a ''whitefish' sandwich and it was not as good as expected. On the Great Lakes you expect fresh fish but this was a fish... More

We had the most personable and friendly waiter. She was most helpful in recommending dinner selections and was prompt and efficient. I had the Shrimp & Mussels Diablo, which was excellent, tasty firm shrimp and delicious mussels. Others in our party had the walnut summer salad and Atlantic Salmon, both of which were excellent. Prices here were reasonable--or as reasonable... More
