We asked a waitress which fudge store should we go to and she suggested JoAnn's Fudge which is where the locals go. You have to understand...fudge is huge and is supposed to be unique on the island. At JoAnn's there was a huge variety and also fudge that was not chocolate, too. There is peanut brittle, carmel popcorn. The carmel... More

Lots of fudge to be found on Mackinac Island, but JoAnn's was our favorite! They even served it as an afternoon treat at our B&B. Yummy!

Best peanut butter fudge on the island! There are chunks of peanut butter in the fudge. It's like little surprises just waiting in the middle if the fudge. Nom Nom.

I don't like fudge. So when we went to Mackinac Island, my husband was the one that did the shopping, sampling and buying of the fudge. Well, don't tell my husband, but I tried it... and was sold. Ever since that first try, I have been sneaking little bits from the 5 big pieces that he bought ;) He will... More

When you hit the island there are just some things you have to do ride a bike, buy fudge, see the Grand. But fudge here is a must. Fun staff, creamy fudge and a sunset make the trip!

As a diabetic, I am always hunting for sugar-free sweets that don't have "too much" bad additives. Joann's makes four or five varieties of no added sugar fudge; I tried two, and noted that my finger-stick blood sugars did not spike erratically. They use maltitol to sweeten the fudge, and while it is a sugar alcohol (which is technically not... More

This is the fudge store I wanted to go to - when I had looked up Mackinac Island restaurants on trip advisor, JoAnn's Fudge was number 1. We saw 2 stores on the island - 1 on each side of the main road. It looks like we went into the smaller of the 2 stores, but both were packed! It... More

We bought fudge at Joann's on Mackinaw Island and it was so good, we bought more in Mackinaw City. They have a huge selection and it is fun to watch it being made. We love the smell of warm fudge cooking in the big kettle as soon as we walk in.
