Wife and I ordered the buttermilk pancakes. Wow - what a stack! They were very good, as was the bacon, orange juice and coffee. Good place for breakfast. Pleasant, efficient service. Can you eat your full stack of pancakes??? We couldn't! Very good, but just too much for us. Good luck!

The Pancake House is a small restaurant on Main that serves yummy breakfast items. The restaurant itself is clean, and the staff are friendly and attentive. We arrived just after 10am and were promptly seated. There is only one unisex bathroom off the kitchen area, and there is often quite a wait for it. While waiting I chatted to the... More

Good, simple, affordable menu options and food. Nothing spectacular, but on an island that is very expensive, this is one of the most reasonable options available. Vegetarians and kids have options as well. $35 for four of us for lunch and we had all we wanted. Not haute cuisine but, after all, it is a pancake house.

The food was excellent for what it is supposed to be. Pancakes are not gourmet food, but everything was cooked as expected and the service was very good.

Had a 15-minute waiting list, but it's a small place, and worth the wait! Breakfast was very good - husband had pancakes and I had the Island Breakfast. Both were huge portions, cooked perfectly, and everything was fresh and delicious. Service was very good, too, considering how packed they were! Would recommend.

This is a great little place to have breakfast if you are on the island. It looks a little small but they seat you in Ryba's Fudge store as well - there's nothing quite like having breakfast surrounded by fudge. The staff is super friendly and prompt. It appears that it is always bustling in there. I had a delicious... More

Pancakes were fantastic, corned beef hash was even better. Seating was weird though as they have no hostess, so it can be a near-mob free for all. You can check in with a waitress but not everyone does.

A good, reasonably priced (for Mackinac) breakfast. The only downside is that the tables are close together, and it gets quite loud.

My wife and I stopped here for breakfast at about 8am. No wait, just walked in and sat down. The prices seemed a little high for breakfast until I saw the portion sizes, wow, they were huge. 3 large pancakes and a 3 egg omelet, the wife and I had trouble finishing it all. It all tasted delicious. A must... More

They even make fudge-filled pancakes. They are associated with Ryba's fudge and ice cream parlor. I had blueberry pancakes with fresh strawberries, ice cream and whipped cream that was awesome.
