Sit at the bar if there's room. Brad is the best! He looks like Edward Norton, too. Definitely worth the visit.

The service here was almost not at all. We went (just 2 of us) and sat for at least 30 minutes with no service at all. We finally got up and left. The next day, because I was so determined to eat there, (this is supposedly the oldest building there, but if you read the fine print on the menu... More

Decided to stop here and have some lunch during our one-day visit to the island. The mustang lounge claims to be the oldest eating and drinking establishment on the island itself. By the looks of the furniture in the restaurant that claim may be very well true. The barstools have rips and tears in them and the tables themselves were... More

The Mustang is (or at least used to be) the only place open in the winter on Mackinac. The first time I went, it was a bare boned, small town tavern with one of the best damned cheeseburgers and draft beer I've tasted. It's changed hands, I think, since that first trip and become somewhat more "gentrified". Cheeseburgers are still... More

the Mustang's original owner has a very interesting story! Worth hearing! The food is good and the atmosphere makes you feel like you live on the island. It is open all year round so all locals tend to go here.

This place has a cool story. It was busy but able to get good service. Large drink choices and great spinach artichoke dip full of cheese. Cool find

My wife & I went here on our honeymoon, and its a bit of a mix. The service was absolutely not the best, and it took almost 45 minutes for the food! The place was deserted! But.... It was the best Ruben sandwiches we've ever had.... EVER. If we're ever in the area again and we want to kill a... More

Let me begin by saying "I am the easiest customer to please" being a former waitress ,I fully understand the demands of the trade. We had a dinner reservation at 8pm so we showed up about 7:50pm.thinking it's a good idea .As we entered the Mustang Lounge, we noticed how filthy it was...food on the floor... silverware was crusty. My... More

Let me begin by saying, if you have to tell people you are "the easiest customer to please", you probably aren't. We had a very busy, and aside from a couple issues, very successful New Year's Eve. Your first few complaints were easy fixes and happen in every restaurant. Nobody is perfect. As for being out of a few of... More
