The Swedish pancakes are very good, we've been here before. We're thinking the location is different but we're not sure about that. Either way, we will return.

We were there for a quick lunch. A buffet was offered but the food was just ok. There was a variety of foods but nothing stood out as being especially exceptional.

Set on main street they have great lake perch. Ever time I come through Ludington I go to their place and get a salad with awesome blue cheese dressing. The slice of pie for dessert feed 4 not one!

The dark meat chicken and dressing with mashed potatoes and gravy, mac cheese, a side salad and homemade bread was just like Momma used to make. You won't leave hungry and it was very easy on your pocket book. A casual setting at and easy to get to downtown location.

I have been here many times over the years, the latest visit in June. I have never had a bad meal here. Almost everything is home made. The bread is excellant, as are the soups, and everything I have ever ordered. The service is something that has lacked at times. Especially when they are very busy. Overall the Old Hamlin... More

Visit 1: Our first visit was phenomenal! We ordered a dinner special they had - 2 meals, an appetizer, soups and dessert for $23. It's a steal! The food was very good. The bread and soup were both fabulous! The steak was above average, especially in the price range. The mashed potatoes and gravy were wonderful too. Everything was homemade.... More

As I said when you complained, We are sorry. I tried to fix the situation, by bringing your drinks and listening to you complaints. Yes it was an unusually busy night. So much for the statistics we use to determine a schedule of help. I am just a little unhappy that you did not mention that you were not charged... More

Visited 2014 08 21 We found this place through an advert in our motel flyer. It was close and and easy to get to so we gave it a try. We went there for supper. We had the buffet. Plenty of food and a good variety. Ribs, chicken, fish, hamburg, beef, potatoes, soups, salads. We got there a little later... More

Thank you for the review. A lot of people don't know about the parking and get frustrated with the avenue and continue on. Bigger signs are needed bur alas the city likes the little ones. More

I ate dinner here and breakfast the next morning. The dinner buffet was okay. They had chicken, beef and ribs to choose from. The salad bar was great also. The breakfast bar is even better. But this time I ordered a vegetable/ cheese skillet with meat and eggs added. I could only eat half since the portions are so huge.... More

Old Hamlin was recommended as a good breakfast place by one of the local shopkeepers. We were happy that they served breakfast all day, as it was towards lunchtime when we arrived. I had an omelet and my husband had the corned beef hash and eggs. The American fries were great; just like Mom used to make. The toast slices... More
