Delicious!!

Been going here ever since I was little and it never changes. Love the food!!! Best burgers around. Bummer that it only accepts cash but the trip to the bank is always worth it. ;)

Forget about White Castles. Bates Burgers are 100 times better. Get them with everything (grilled onions and pickle). The fries are also great. The place is small and has been around forever, but you can't beat it for comfort food.

Better than McDonald's, Burger King, Culvers, and all the rest. Good old time flavor. We just love it.

Just every now and then nothing taste better than a Bates burger. Fried onions and beef on a good bun sums it up. I get two double cheeseburgers with everything while my wife get a few singles dressed the same. Fries are always hot but sometimes seem a little underdone. When they are done as they can be, they are... More

Bates has been around forever. The burgers, chili, fries and chocolate shakes are always consistent . We love to stop at least once a month.

Visit Bates the heart of Livonia, Michigan. Their burgers are unique. My favorite are the double cheeseburgers with extra pickles. All the staff are very friendly. They offer counter seating and also carry out. I believe Wednesday is hot dog/chilli dog day. I always get double cheeseburgers, large fries and their famous chocolate milk shakes. Yummy!!

Best biscuits and gravy around. Great value for breakfast. Burgers are craved more than the other's crave pack.

I have gone to Bates my whole life. Walking up there as a kid or now running by as an adult. Their burgers are great, fries and crinkle cut wonderful and some of the best chocolate milk shakes around.

You'll take a step back, in time, when You visit this location. The lobby is CRAMPED. The seats are tiny. So are the burgers. (but) the timeless motif is worthy of a visit. the time travel visit , back to the 1950's is actually kind of fun!

One bite and you'll be back again and again. Wonderful, warm, and juicy describes those little burgers. The shakes are chocolaty and thick.
