This is certainly a "hole in the wall". The food was very good, I had the special, mean green omelet, my husband had biscuits and gravy. The service was fine, but slow. The wait was over an hour, the music way too loud. Décor was vintage quirky. I don't think I will return.

This place is kind of shady, but so worth it. Most days you'll have to wait to get a table, or share with someone else if you're a group of 2. The place is tiny and crammed with weird stickers and stuff on the ceiling but in my opinion it adds to the experience! Their specials are always delicious, and... More

I went into the Golden Harvest to eat and they have fly strips hanging all over with dead flys Very dirty and the City should make them CLOSE this dump and clean it up. Never have I been in such a gross place.

This was my second time going to golden harvest and I have to say I'm really not as impressed as everyone else seems to be... Our waitress was pretty rude both times, really didn't appreciate the attitude she had for no apparent reason. The food is really good, but I think a lot of other breakfast places in the area... It was my family's first time hanging around Lansing together. We were looking for a good breakfast spot, and boy did we find it. Tucked away in a neighborhood, this tiny restaurant seems to be the most popular spot in town. With a seating capacity of about 25 people this is an intimate setting. You have to wait outside. There... More

I have been there several times with either friends or family. It is always awesome. The wait is not a problem and sitting with others that are waiting has been fun. Always nice to meet new people. Zane and Vanessa are always gracious and welcoming. GREAT PLACE.

We used to go here all the time years ago and hadn't been back since new people took over. Not impressed. There is a whole list of rules on the front door which I like to think is meant to be taken lightly but after hearing the 'host' mutter "Read the sign people", the workers obviously take it seriously. We... More

The food is always great. This is one of the best breakfasts in town. It was a great experience waiting in line over an hour for french toast outside in the cold when I was an undergrad, but I (and all of my friends) are over it. You can get almost as good a breakfast without the hipsters and queues... More

Different atmosphere than any restaurant you'll find. You have to wait outside in a line and many people get confused on what to do when they get there. Good food.

If cults had restaurants, this would be one. Oh, wait, there IS a cult of Golden Harvest. Go if you must check it off your Lansing bucket list, otherwise try some of the small emerging breakfast/lunch places like Soup Spoon where you can get good food without the attitude. Been there, done that. Will try something else next time
