Met friends for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had lobster BLT sandwich with fries and cole slaw. Excellent! Husband had shrimp with pasta and he loved it. Friends both had fish sandwiches which were deemed excellent. Will definitely return, hopefully for dinner where we can try whitefish. Service was excellent. Good choice.

One of my favorite spots in the Lansing/East Lansing area. The food is excellent, fresh fish and seafood flown in daily. Chef will prepare as per your request. Pecan-crusted Whitefish is the best I've ever had -- and we folks in Michigan are Whitefish connoisseurs. Very rarely do I eat dessert, but those are fabulous here, also.

We frequently go to Mitchell's and I can say that they offer a consistent great experience! The food is always prepared to perfection, the manager is always available and interested that the guests are getting the experience/food tha they had hoped for. The prices are reasonable and each meal is prepared indivdually. Love, love this place and will continue to... More

We stayed one night in Lansing Michigan and were directed to Mitchell's for dinner. It sits in the middle of a very nice shopping area with some nice outdoor spaces. But the quality was much more than we anticipated in a shopping center! We sat outside on a lovely evening (inside was very cold with air conditioning - maybe a... More

Stopped in for some take home salmon filets for the grill. Young man who helped me suggested I get the King salmon - wild caught! Absolutely gorgeous thick filets with skin on, roughly $17 which is awesome for wild. Fish is always fresh and reasonable priced for takeout.

I think this is the best seafood place I have ever eaten in. I make it a point on my "once a year" trip to Lansing to make sure we go to this restaurant. Pricey but well worth it.

I have tried pretty much all variety of fishes (blackened, jerk, shanghai) at Mitchell's so the last time I tried the "Island Jerk Chicken" and LOVED IT! You can have decent dinner for under $30 if you skip the appetizer and can hold off on the desert. You got to have an oyster or two. I am a frequent diner... More

You can't beat the variety of fresh seafood. Mitchell's has the usual seafood, such as salmon and shrimp, plus other things that you don't find in most restaurants. It also has a selection of non-seafood dishes. But it's fairly expensive. For example, a shrimp cocktail appetizer for over $13 and $22 for salmon. You can get decent salmon (although perhaps... The atmosphere is nice and like to see the display of seafood in the glass case. The problem is that the price of the food is overpriced in relation to its quality.

We had 13 people in their private room... and the service and food was perfect. Every person loved their meal.... especially the non-fish fish eaters. Salmon... Crab legs... Steaks... and even a burger... were cooked perfectly. Five stars...
