I really love this place. It is expensive but has the freshest fish in town. Nice atmosphere and great service. It is best to have lunch as the price is less but the portions are still large.

I go to Mitchell's Fish Market when I want to treat myself to some really good salmon or some other kind of fish. They prepare their food in very tasty ways and service is great. It is a little pricey so I don't eat there often, but I always enjoy it when I do.

Excellent food. Helpful service. Local touch: ice cream from Michigan State University dairy. Since I'm from California, I appreciated trying the whitefish from the Great Lakes.

This is a wonderful restaurant for fish as well as other entrees. They also sell fish to take home and prepare and I can say that the crab, which comes in a one pound can, is in bigger chunks than any other I have bought anywhere. They have outdoor seating when the weather warms up. You can rely on this... More

Stopped in to celebrate my wife passing a big state exam. We couldn't have picked a better place. The food, atmosphere and wait staff was excellent. Definitely coming back.

We had a 3pm Sunday lunch reservation. From the moment we sat down the service was lacking. It took several minutes to be greeted. We had dirty bread plate at our table. We ordered water and it took way to long to get them. The server sat them down and took off. We changed out dirty bread plated from an... More

I ordered fish I did not care for and it was undercooked. However, without asking, Management took the entrée of my ticket. Go Mitchell's.

My parents and grandma and I ate Christmas Dinner here this year, since we didn't get our power back in time to eat at home. I am so glad that they were open! This was a much lovelier place to eat than a little Chinese restaurant. Given the number of people who had to eat out due to the power... More

Ok, upfront...I'm a very casual person...give me a dive bar and I'm happy... My brother decided to treat the family. I'm looking at the menu and finally decided on the Beer Battered Shrimp. Brother also ordered Shrimp Cocktail and Calamari for appetizers for us all. I will never be able to eat store-bought frozen calamari ever again. The shrimp cocktail... More
