Good quality fish restaurant in Lansing

We heard a lot about this place, so we went. We ordered a crab cake, my wife tried chilean sea bass and I ordered lobster&shrimp stuffed cod. Her food wasmore tastier than mine. 3 glasses of wine, a lemon pie, the bill turned out to be 110 dollars. It is not cheap, but it was worth it. Our waite... read more

Fresh seafod (considering we're not on a coast), good salads, nice wine. Dined here for both lunch and dinner and separate occasions. Service was good, food was better.

Like this place, it is priced but is worth, they made the best "Cuban mojitos " in town! Quiet and nice environment.

My wife joined me on my business trip to the area, so I thought I would treat her to a nice dinner here. I've been here for lunch a number of times and everything was good. Unfortunately, our experience here tonight was totally different. I got the seafood trio and my wife ordered the salmon. For my dish, the crab... More

I went to the Fish Market and the food was great. The lobster busque and the calamari were some of the best that I have had.

A few months ago I had some friends visiting from out of town. I was told several times that Mitchell's was the place to go to since we all wanted seafood. Well it too over 30 minutes to be seated(didn't know a reservation was required). Our server was beyond short with us. Almost as if SHE was upset we were... More

Food and atmosphere were really great. Lobster bites were melt in your mouth fantastic! Crab cakes were good, but it wasn't really all lump crab meat. The corn purée ended up being just roasted corn which as so-so. Potatoes and skins were very creamy and flavorful. Lobster bisque & gumbo way to thick. Shrimp scampi & lobster/fish entrees both very... More

We are from NY so expect insane fish prices. We were pleasantly surprised at the very reasonable price of the swordfish we purchased to grill at home. It was extremely fresh and scrumptious. Next time we are in town we will definitely return!

The meal is often very good but very high priced for what you get! For a restaurant of their caliberI would think they wuld have Pacific Salmon on their menu all the time and not Farm Raised Atlantic Salmon. There is a dramatic difference in taste and for a restaurant that prides itself in being a "better" place this often... More
