Lamai closed the place a few months ago. She now does a few local festivals, like the Pottervill Gizzard Fest, but her restaurant is closed.

Overlook the down-at- the-heels, funky decor, and tuck in to some of the best Thai food around! We stopped by the other night on a whim, since our usual source for Thai food was closed, and we are so glad we experienced Lamai's authentic cuisine! We ate from the buffet and everything we tried was delicious! The salads were refreshing... More

Lami is a little older lady from Thailand and makes the most authentic and delicious Thai food that I've had in Michigan! Her pad thai is the best I've had in my life and her massaman curry is wonderful. There is an all you can eat buffet for lunch and for dinner (it usually costs about 10 dollars). If you... More

The lunch buffet is a good deal. However, when I order take out, I'm dissappointed by the large amount of sauce used in noodle dishes.

If you are a foodie, this is the place! Lamai is the kindest person trying to make a living here in the U.S. doing what she does best..... Cooking great food from scratch! There is nothing processed in her restaurant. The buffett is fresh and despite the condition of the facility you will not be disappointed. Lamai is behind in... More

If your desprite for thai food go here. Otherwise pass on by. Its dark dingy and dirty. The buffett looked disgusting. Kinda creepy too.

Pros: Good authentic food. Large portions. Cons: Run down ambiance. Poor service. Took a while to bring out my order. Charged me more than the menu listed price because she did not have time to update the menu..... Unacceptable

This is not the fanciest place in the world, but the food is outstanding. She has a different buffet every day at lunch time. I particularly like the sea food buffet every Friday. If an item is spicy there's a note telling you in case you want to avoid spicy food. Give it a try; you won't be disappointed.
