I love the pulled pork, beef brisket and fries (double order) and the mustard BBQ sauce. The garlic bread is very good, but too many calories. You can also still enjoy the BBQ by substituting the chicken for the beef brisket, and the baked potato (dry) and broccoli (no butter) for the fries; and it's then low calorie! Afterwards, it's... I've eaten in and ordered take-out from them. Always good food at a reasonable price. Never had anything I didn't enjoy. Nice, quieter atmosphere most of the time. Good service and they handle special requests quite well.

Smokey Bones BBQ is good beef, nothing special, but very respectable. We have eaten at this location several times. The menu is relatively limited and it's easy in just a few visits, dining with friends and family, to sample everything on the menu. Smokey Bones does allow for building your own burger and picking combo plates. They offer pulled pork,... More

Delicious!!!!!!!!! Took my MSU student and his girlfriend there for lunch... just up the highway from campus. So much to choose from, we had a hard time making up our minds! The pulled pork was great, and who can refuse a loaded baked potatoe? Great atmosphere, too... loved reading all the thought provoking decore!

I went with a large group to Smoky Bones for New Years Eve. We showed up without a reservation, and were seated within a reasonable time. The food was excellent and the service was good too.

We stopped in for lunch, the burgers were a bit overcooked (we ordered medium well and got very well done) and the mojito I ordered tasted like the syrup mix without anything else added. The wait staff was attentive and polite. We were hoping for a really good burger and it missed the mark, but it was better than fast... More

Went to get the prim rib special that they had advertised, ordered only to find out 15 minutes later that they were out. We had a "great waiteress" and all though she was not informed in advance, she handled it very well. The manager could take a lesson or two from her, she really did go out of her way... More

The food was good. We had a mix of items on our table - salads, burgers, chicken and ribs. First we had to wait about 200 minutes to be seated. We were there relatively early for a Friday night (about 5:15) and there were plenty of empty tables but we still had to wait to be seated. I should add... More

The cook needs a remedial course in deep frying. Last night I ordered the starter of loaded cheese fries, onion rings and chicken fingers. The fries were lukewarm, the onion rings and chicken fingers were overcooked. Really? How hard is it to take a frozen product and drop it into a fryer for the appropriate amount of time? The waitress... More

Had lunch at Smokey Bones with a friend. Ordered a build-A-Burger. The hamburger meat was OK, but it was very dry. Had to use more ketchup than normal and lost the taste of the cooked onion and Swiss cheese. No side order included, not even chips. There are better places for a good burger.
