Joined others to eat at El Azteco. We all had a good meal at a reasonable price. Everyone was happy with their meal. This is one of the better restaurant in downtown East Lansing if you are looking to eat in East Lansing. Would not give it 4 stars but 2 is more deserving.

This a great little place for Mexican food! Now, I will admit, the neighborhood is NOT the best. But, it is still safe and the food and service are worth it!

My wife and I ate at El Azteco with our daughter's family recently. We've been there often because the food is very good and reasonably priced. The service was, as usual, quite good. They begin with chips and salsa, both hot and mild. These go quickly as they are delicious. Refills are supplied as needed. We've never been disappointed with... More

We've been coming here once a month for years, don't even know how long they have been in business. Great local vibe, you always run into people you know. Love the cheese dip & pitchers of margaritas. Not a huge fan of the menu, kind of hit or miss. But I go there for the Toppoco salad, its huge and... More

I've been eating here since 1977 (when burritos were $1 and nachos $3)- and the food has not changed one bit. I look at this as a positive- made from scratch, fresh ingredients, WICKED GOOD hot sauce- and still reasonable prices. The NACHOs are the way to start your dinner, hands down. If you want the best, local Michigan State... More

You can tell it's homemade. Great food and decent prices. East lansing one has a nice roof deck that's enjoyable to eat at. Always will be my favorite Mexican in Lansing.

I haven't been to this place in five years so was really looking forward to it. The place was fairly busy. I thought the menu was lacking. I like enchilada's so there was plenty of choices, but my husband prefers burritos or other Mexican dishes and there wasn't much for him. It took a long time to get waited on.... More

El Az has great cheese dip and enchiladas. However, if you can make it to the east side of town, their East Lansing location has amazing rooftop seating.

My mom and I got together the other night for dinner. We decided to go to El AZ as we split a topopo and leave stuffed. I have been going to El AZ with family and friends since I was a kid. 20 plus years and the food had gone down in quantity and quality and increased in price a... More

The appeal to El Az in East Lansing is the upstairs patio! Great place to go and have a few margaritas and kick back in the sun. The food is just okay. They have a really good dip that I would recommend (can't think of the name at the moment). The service is slow. Can get VERY busy. Even on... More
