You can tell it's homemade. Great food and decent prices. East lansing one has a nice roof deck that's enjoyable to eat at. Always will be my favorite Mexican in Lansing.

I haven't been to this place in five years so was really looking forward to it. The place was fairly busy. I thought the menu was lacking. I like enchilada's so there was plenty of choices, but my husband prefers burritos or other Mexican dishes and there wasn't much for him. It took a long time to get waited on.... More

El Az has great cheese dip and enchiladas. However, if you can make it to the east side of town, their East Lansing location has amazing rooftop seating.

My mom and I got together the other night for dinner. We decided to go to El AZ as we split a topopo and leave stuffed. I have been going to El AZ with family and friends since I was a kid. 20 plus years and the food had gone down in quantity and quality and increased in price a... More

The appeal to El Az in East Lansing is the upstairs patio! Great place to go and have a few margaritas and kick back in the sun. The food is just okay. They have a really good dip that I would recommend (can't think of the name at the moment). The service is slow. Can get VERY busy. Even on... More

Service is slow, upstairs roof patio is awesome, dip is timelessly fantastic. Stop by, but only if you are not in a hurry.

I've been coming here for at least 20 years! I order the same thing everytime. The Enchilades de Joque are to die for! The building could definetely use a face lift. It's a little dark inside. And everything seems the same.

The food at El Azteco is pretty decent Mexican food. The prices are reasonable and the service is generally good. There are daily lunch specials.

This location is no cleaner than the original. Less generous with chips and soft drink refills. Parking is in city garage located behind the restaurant. Food is about the same as the original restaurant. Love the Topopo salad.

El Azteco in Lansing is disgusting. Me and my boyfriend recently went to this restaurant. The service was terrible - restaurant staff stood by the bar area as we waited and waited. The food was disgusting, I couldn't eat it. We just paid and left, it wasn't the hassle to send back/complain. From the look of the staff, it wouldn't... More
