Love this place!

This place is so cozy and intimate and different. Sitting at a table next to the beautiful fireplace having a unique Irish inspired meal is a really relaxing experience. The service, menu selection and tasty food will keep us coming back.

I ate there with a group of my fiancés friends on 4/13. It was a cozy looking place and had a nice atmosphere. The food on the other hand was absolutely disgusting. My fiancé is half Irish and he was delighted to order the corned beef and cabbage meal. When it arrived the corned beef had the precanned consistency of... More

I travel to Lansing every week for business and I always go to the Claddagh at least one night a week. There's nothing like a hot Irish Stew by a cozy fireplace when it's cold outside. The fireplace is in a room that feels like an old style library with lots of old books. The rest of the food is... More

The cod is fabulous, and Mondays the restaurant offers the fish 2 for 1. That's the best reason to go, along with the atmosphere. It's a great bar and nice ambience. The bangers (sausage) should taste like SOMETHING, but this dish had NO flavor. It was like plain boiled potatoes with no salt! Even the broth was flavorless. So disappointing.... More

This is our third visit here and I must say we are both very happy. I love Irish Stew, mostly my own. I ordered it my first time and it was excellent, so I have made a point of ordering it the last 2 times we have visited also to check consistency. I am happy to say that each time... More

Clam chowder very salty and mostly potatoes. I think the clams just jumped over it. We split a large fish dinner, which was excellent, as expected. Service was excellent, even though she had a demanding table of ten.

Our family of four adults had a good lunch here on January 25, 2015. Two people ordered spinach chicken sandwich on a ciabatta roll which came with french fries - both people enjoyed these sandwiches. Two of us ordered the luncheon portion of the shepherd's pie which came in a bowl and was served with a small side salad. The... More

I have been here twice now and although the presentation of the food is very nice, the taste seems to be lacking. I've now tried several dishes (by sharing with friends), including the shepherd's pie and Dublin coddle. They weren't bad, but I think they could do better. I have had absolutely delicious Irish fare before at other Irish restaurants.... More

On a business trip. Ordered the fist and chips. I eat everything and never complain and never send food back. The fish was over cooked, dried out and tasted like the sole of a shoe. I thought the middle of the fish would be better and it was not. I ate about a third of the fish. I complained and... More

We've eaten at Claddagh multiple times, and I've enjoyed it every time. The place is a combination bar/restaurant with dark paneling and other décor that feels very Irish. There is some carpeting and sound-muffling to help with noise level and ambience. Service has always been excellent. Sometimes they are really crowded, and it can be a bit slow. Reservations can...
