C Pub at Canterbury; Nice setting, but the food and service......

3 Friends and I had lunch here the other day on the spare of the moment. 1 had a Maurice Salad, 2 had a Grilled Ham & Cheese, and I had the Dragon Chicken Sandwich. We three who had the sandwiches all thought they were dry and overcooked on top of being tasteless. For $8-9 for a sandwich we... read more

Upon entering for our first visit we immediately got pretty excited. While finding our own table we glanced around, as people do, and the food looked pretty good. Little did we know that was the apex of our evening as from there it went downhill fast. It took 15 minutes for our waitress to finally arrive. She couldn't answer any... More

Looked forward to the burger all day. It was so disorganized! We (and the table next to us) went to the bar to get our own drinks. The table next to us finally got menus and passed theirs on to us when they were done! The table next to us got their food had asked for their waters they had... More

The castle is a unique place and as you walk to the door's, one can't help but notice the knights in armor door handles. Also upon entering the large hall and beautiful decorations meet you. Their are two ways to go (left or right) and just randomly guessing my friend and I choose the right direction since their wasn't a... More

Lovely wedding reception with an awesome staff. However the food was mostly tasteless. Salad was only lettuce. Pasta sauce had no flavor and chicken was blah. The rolls were good!

My family picked this for our annual Christmas get together. Was for lunch and then if everyone wanted to shop it was all in one place. Even though my brother-in-law and my sister-in-law were very generous in picking up the whole tab not everyone was happy (but kept it to ourselves as we were not paying). Most of us chose... More

We've been going to this place for years but have never had such a bad experiece as this. We had 5 adults and 4 children in the party. They would not let us push 3 tables together in a restaurant that was clearly not full. So they sat us at a big table at the edge of the restaurant which... More

My daughter and I took two grandsons to the C-Pub recently and found it to be very nice. They had a good children's menu, we had salads, fish and chips; and also a couple of appetizers. I loved the fried pickles, and my grandsons love the chicken wings. They had offered a voucher...spend $10 and get $20...which I took and... More

We both had the fried chicken and we loved it. Better than Frankenmuth. Crisp and has the perfect amount of seasoning. The service was good and the price is well worth it. I do recommend taking a stroll around the grounds and having a cider or donut for dessert at the Yates Cider Mill onsite location.

This was the perfect venue! The castle is beautiful, and the grounds were amazing, so many great places to take photos. We got married in the chapel, and our guests were able to walk around the cute village while we took our photos. The staff went out of their way to accommodate everything we needed and wanted. The day of... More
