Excellent Breakfast

Small restaurant with plenty of character upstairs from a coffee joint. Food is good and you get a more gourmet type of sandwiches using different combinations of pesto, red peppers, tofu, olive tapenade etc. Breakfast is very tasty too with omelets like spinach and feta. Breakfast all day.

I read many great reviews about this place so I insisted my husband and I stopped here on our weekend getaway. Don't let the size of this restaurant scare you away. We had an amazing breakfast with eggs cooked perfectly and delicious homemade bread. It was a great way to start our morning before touring the town.

I had a roasted vegetable soup (soup of the day) which was good. And I can't remember the sandwich I got but I think it was the Caprice con Portobello (looked it up online, but not entirely sure if this is what I had). It had a huge marinated juicy mushroom, a wonderful sauce and cheese, inside a really yummy... More

Great fresh menu options. My husband order fish and chips with coleslaw. My choice was to create my omelet. I chose goat cheese, spinach and spiced apples with home fries (red skins) and zucchini bread. Yummy! Great service and atmosphere.

My husband and I ate here on a Sunday morning. It was pretty busy and we had to wait a while (about 30 minutes) to get a table but we were prepared for that from reading reviews. We are vegetarians and there were a ton of great options for us. I had the breakfast burrito which was gigantic and delicious.... More

The only thing bad about the Crow's Nest is that they are always jammed because they're so good. It's just a great neighborhood restaurant, perfect for breakfast and lunch. Never had a bad meal here. Be aware it is not wheelchair accessible. It's up a very long flight of stairs.

My husband and I have been trying places listed by "Gonzo" from the Grand Rapids Press as "best" For "best breakfast" we decided to try Crows Nest-sure glad we did! Had a wait on the stairs, knew if all these people were willing to wait, it would most likely be worth it and it was! We had excellent service, food... More
