The food is just ok. Eggs always seem to be watery. Wait staff is always nice. I wish there was more space between tables. You feel like you're packed in like sardines.
This is the best breakfast restaurant I've ever been to. The food is good, the service is great. They don't rush you, but when you order it is prepared quickly and you receive it hot! Haven't been here for lunch, but for breakfast it's definitely worth it!
Decent for the most part. I did have potato soup there once and didn't care for it. It tasted like flour water. I've had other things there that weren't bad though.
Extensive breakfast menu, tasty food, fast and friendly service. The atmosphere is nothing special. I have had their seafood omelet several times, and will order it again in the future.
Have never had a bad meal, wait if any is short and portions are spot on. Always our favorite place for breakfast!

Once we got in there was also a wait for food because they're so busy. Staff is very friendly and doing the best they can. Food was... More
Great food, very busy. Best biscuits and gravy in town. Will do it again! Very busy in the morning, so plan to wait but worth it.
We always have breakfast at LaRue's when visiting our daughter at WMU. The serivce is great and the specials posted are great value for the money. Food is always tasty and cooked as we like. Coffee is kept up with refills.
It's close and cheap. it's hit or miss with the service. the food is just ok. there is always a wait and it's standing room only. I never have cash so I always have to hit up the atm.
Breakfasts, soup, and sandwiches are all good here. Reliable fare. Excellent prices. My college-student daughter loves the chicken wraps. Hubby and I usually go for breakfast or soup and sandwich. As of my last visit in May, Larue's still only accepts cash. They do have an ATM in the lobby, but of course you have to pay a fee. Not... More
