For 20 years, Food Dance has been committed to building a thriving and sustainable local food system. We support artisans who practice craft food processes that have been around for generations-growing, raising, preserving, curing, aging, pickling, butchering and more. For Food Dance, it's about the connection with the people and places their food comes from-authentic people and authentic food that's true to its source. Serving breakfast, lunch or dinner-guests are served the freshest menu items in a casual and welcoming atmosphere. We offer private dining space for celebrations or larger groups as well as catering and delivery. We host cooking classes and special dinners throughout the year - aimed to introduce guests to new elements of the culinary and agricultural worlds. Our on-site market offers amazing ingredients sourced from their family of purveyors-from sustainable, humanely raised meats, sausages and artisan cheeses to fresh baked bread, pastries and savory baked goods.

If you have been reading my restaurant reviews, you know I like bland food (no spices) because I have GERD (heartburn), and no gall bladder (can't eat fat), and I keep kosher (no meat). Vegetarian food is usually okay except I can't eat citrus fruit or fresh tomatoes. I was at a business lunch. I had the veggie sandwich which... More

Had a great meal 12/13/14, but the customer service leaves a bad taste. Waitress Carol brought a bottle of wine not even close to what we ordered. Her reply, "oops". Proceeded to have a fantastic meal with my wife, my son, and two of his college friends. Having had drinks, appetizers, and full meals, the boys all had half their... More

Food Dance is by far one of the very best restaurants in southwest Michigan. Their staff is friendly and professional. They offer a wide variety of unique and delicious foods and drinks.

This place is so great with it's style I keep going back for lunch, but their menu always disappoints me. They have a wonderful lemonade ginger tea. That's the only thing on the lunch menu worth raving about and their dessert Cats moew is excellent. The supper menu is much better.

This is one of my go to restaurants for visitors from out of town or my vegetarian children. Food is fresh, locally acquired when available and always tastily prepared. Ambiance is special and feels like big city dining. Can be a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for!

This is gourmet food. Julie, the owner and chief chef, has created each sandwich, entree and soup. Each is made from scratch from local sources that use no antibiotics or growth hormones. Each dish is carefully seasoned to perfection. Food dance buys its bread from Zingerman's Deli (nationally known-but 100 miles away!). As I guy, I find the cutesy names... More

I was there for breakfast on a Sunday morning. My boyfriend and I were meeting friends. There were 5 people in our party - 2 of which were small children. This was my first and (so far) only experience with this restaurant. I was happily pleased. The restaurant was very busy and there was a 15 minute wait. The food... More

We go to Food Dance quite regularly. You can't go wrong breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Some will find it kind of pricey but keep in mind that you are getting food prepared with a better ingredient. Many of the things are made in house and they use as many locally sourced products as possible. This shows in the final product.... More

We hadn't been to this restaurant in years, and on a recent trip...noticed that it had moved down the street. Wow, we were floored at the ambiance and atmosphere of the new location in a historical building. The restaurant itself was beautiful and the menu was filled with fresh selections made from local ingredients. The small deli/bakery area had wonderful... More
