We dined in mid-December in a Friday night, and this place was dead. Three other tables the entire time we were there. The restaurant is lovely, probably the highlight. Our server was a little strange. The food was decent enough. The charcuterie plate was a very nice app. All of our entrees were okay, not spectacular though. Given the prices,... More

On the Kalamazoo Mall (Used to be called"The Mall") this is one of the better restaurants in Kalamazoo. A very nice finer dining side and the Bistro/Bar side. Part of a local restaurant chain, this is one of the best, and always dependable in quality of food and service.

Generally speaking not a good experience. A couple of high points, extensive beer list, chef's board and cheese board appetizers are tasty. Service was reasonable considering we were a large group. The rest is mediocre at best...$5.50 Caesar Salad is a joke...McDonalds is better. Since Epic is supposed to be a Bistro, what better place to order Steak Frites? The... More

This is where we had dinner on a mystery trip. We has a choice of Flat Iron Steak or Salmon. I had the steak. It was good but a little spicy with pepper. They were a little slow in serving us, but we odd have 49 in our party. The ones who had salmon said it was very good.

Business dinner with a colleague. Was able to get a table without a reservation. Greeter was super friendly and efficient. Wait staff was quick, knowledgeable and helpful. Not a huge menu, but still had plenty of choices. Nice atmosphere. Would dine here again

Epic is a very comfortable, nicely appointed bistro that delivers excellent food in unusually large portions. It is a very pretty dining room (it should be noted that it has a very nice semi-private room for larger parties of say 15 or more). The food is bistro-like in its offering. My wife had the potato cheese soup to begin. It... More

We had drinks and dinner here - it was a fun atmosphere with good food - perhaps not as creative as some, but well-done and interesting.

We had a nice work meeting, party of 7. I'm vegetarian, had the tart and wood fired Brie. Yum! The creme brûlée was delicious. Chairs are comfy. They didn't offer to take my long winter coat when I came in or sat down, so I had to sit with it on my chair.

One of the best in Kalamazoo, if not the best. Great service, excellent food. You can not go wrong here.
