Just stopped in off the interstate for coffee and this place was such a find! Decor is eclectic and unique! They have lots of healthy, fresh food options and many homemade desserts. They sell absolutely gorgeous flowers in glass Mason jars for $10-15. The employees were super friendly- just can't say enough! Everything about this place is just darling- and... More

Located right next to an active railroad off the I -94 business loop, we enjoyed excellent coffee & a chocolate walnut oat bar. Everything was delicious. A jazzy Coltrane piece blew through the speakers as we sipped dark rich coffee. Wifi attracts the college crowd and creative sorts. The inner decor -even the unisex restroom's eclectic. I enjoyed the coffee... More

Being a coffee junkie I do many different coffee shops but they are never as good as Water Street. Always good to be back to the neighborhood and have a mocha!

Not a coffee drinker? This coffeehouse has a terrific assortment of loose leaf tea! Try the Michigan strawberry or the peony. Black, green, or white tea. Great food for lunch or dessert with your tea. Several of my friends like to bring their work here. I find it a bit loud for serious work but it's a fun place to... More

The coffee was tasty. We took a bag home to enjoy. The food was also good. I had a yummy panini and kale salad. My husband had bread stuffed with spinach and cheese and a cup of soup. It was all very good. I would make a point of returning.

Water Street is the best coffee hands down. Their food items are good but coffee is king here. Noticed a poor review that didn't even try the coffee and that's what they do best. You can purchase beans and grind fresh to avoid daily (and expensive) trips. Try the French Roast or Midnight Oil.

I lived in Kalamazoo in the 90's and remembered when this place first opened. That being said, Water Street Coffee Joint is the first place I hit when returning! Great pastries, coffee and service.

They sell a lot of little snacks like cookies, rice crispy treats, rolls, etc.. and almost all of them are $4+. The same things are sold for $1.50 at any other cafe. To be fair though, I haven't tried their coffee or looked at those prices.

Located in downtown Kalamazoo, the Water Street Coffee Joint offers a superb place to have wonderful coffee and lunch. It deli-style food is eclectic with several vegetarian choices. The pastries are incredible, and range from cookies to impressive slices of cake. The coffee is crafted with care and attention to details. The Cafe's building is small on space, tucked into... More

Very casual, good place to chill and study. I like that you can log in to your computer and work. The overall cleanliness has fallen down a bit so they need to sharpen up. Employees work hard and are very attentive. I think management needs better training to help quide them. I like the "village" and "cool" feel of the... More
